He didn't really save it. He removed it from his net because it has no commercial value (though probably tasty). He is a fisherman and there is no tinned dolphin on the shelves in the supermarket. As an ex commercial fisho, I can assure you its as basic as that. Cheers.

Not everyone is as heartless as you seem to be, fortunately. Besides, even if it was as "basic as that" and he was just doing it because it wasn't worth anything (which doesn't seem to be the case, given how we acted), he still saved the dolphin. Both intent _and_ outcome factor into the ethical judgment of an act.

had something relatable at work once.. An iron box was rusted and i couldnt open it, even with loads of rust remover, time to let it work, brushing rust off and lots of brute force I threw my tools through the hall and was screaming angry german swear words A workmate wanted to check whats up right before it, but just walked away when he heard me raging After the outburst it was all fine and started over again - and the box finally opened I would have gone to melting the box, but it was filled with gas containers and i didnt want to die

Falling down or sliding down cement stairs isn't my idea of fun, but whatever floats your dinghy. Kudos to the guy for saving the itty bitty dolphin, no fail whatsoever on that one. The last kid is quite adorable, and very well spoken. I can tell he really doesn't (does) belong on the naughty list.

@@lawncuttingplusdeltaI think we're witnessing the newish routine where expectant parents are about to pop a balloon to reveal the sex of the fetus, blue powder for boy, pink for girl. Their little daughter objects to the procedure, mom turns to slap her and lets go of the balloon. I'm surprised they published the video since it shows mom in the worst possible light - she could have laughed and made it a memorable joke, but instead she got furious and took it out on her child. So who's the real child here? Whatever the sex of the new baby is, it's in for a very hard time. I hope I've got it wrong!
