This one really threw me for a loop…. Jimmy, my love, annoyed me the whole time Opie, who everyone rips on, shows his talent by completely shutting off the other guys, in order to allow the caller to dig in deeper. He’s a really good leader here. Someone has to admit it.

As a beer drinking blue color working guy (a disgusting line) I fount Jimmy's baby boy stuff to have overstayed its welcome, but I certainly didn't find opie to bea leader, in fact I think Louis ck was far more poignant and handled it well from the begining. Mr ck was a mix of comedy and intelligence, and opie came across as schmarmy... granted he was better here than usual.

@Robb19773 жыл бұрын
@@nimo517 its plausible its real, most of them are pretty off the cuff funny, and the disparity in their reactions makes me think real. Opie I know would occasionally take real complaint calls so the guys would validate his existence and the show. Also it was probably his way of "making the show seem real man" so I dont doubt it happened. Also the fact the guy implied he worked in the business or was at least an enthusiast makes me believe he may have been just looking for an argument and knew to not get himself kicked off with trampling over their replies. Its also possible he just wanted to stay on their air as long as possible, some people do achieve elation from negative interactions, and the longer it goes on the better it is for them. Id say its probably real, but there are other calls that id say seem suspect, and some we know are just fake. Eddy the murderer is one im suspicious of.
@Buckets502 жыл бұрын
@@nimo517 no I dont think there’s any chance it’s a bit. It would be orchestrated much better and Jimmy wouldn’t repeat himself so much and Opie woulda played a big tough guy more.
