Let me tell you the story of a Filipino UK nurse who failed the IELTS twice and the OSCE thrice. He was told after the second attempt that he would be sent home. Find out how he managed to stay and eventually pass the OSCE. This a story of resilience and hard work, it also a cautionary tale fro new nurses.

I can feel his pain. I did my IELTS 3x and my OSCE 3x. When I had to do my OSCE the 3rd time I was alone because the rest of my cohortmates already made it. I felt depressed and hopeless. I went to Oxford on my 3rd attempt and I didn’t tell anyone it’s my exam day or else I will feel even more pressured. I stayed in a hostel and slept in a bunk bed with 5 other people in the room and I had to hug my bag while I was sleeping. Even if I prepared so much I don’t know why I keep failing and did fail in assessment 2x. I thought I won’t make it but you can tell if you made any mistake when you come out of the testing area and the 3rd time I had the strong feeling that I made it and I just need to wait for the official results. God is good. Sometimes people fail but He never fails to always give us countless chances, hope and faith to get back to our feet and fight. Congratulations to the story sender. I passed my OSCE July 2019. Naipasa ko rin sa wakas manong George! Ang hirap din po ng dinanas ko feeling ko nag-iisa ako nung mga panahong iyon.

Grabe ramdam na ramdam ko talaga ung story.parang ako din Financialy,emotional, sa work, sa situation natin ngaun at sa love life, at nagkasakit pa buti nalang negative ung swabtest ko laking ginhawa din. nagsaby na lahat haha.😂 The story inspired me to keep going, masarap makarinig ng ganitong kwento. kahit ang hirap hirap. hindi man ako nurse but im one of the many na gusto rin makarating at magwork sa UK. Salamat kay Lord buhay pa ako ngaun. Laban lng! sabi nga nila💪

I did 4x ielts, 4x oet before i finally pass my oet last oct 2020(i started to take the ielts exam as early as 2014 )... and had to take the osce twice as well before i got my pin last december 29 2021. perseverance and determination to continue despite such failures is the key and just focus on your goals...

Manong my OET results came out today and my score are Listening: B Speaking B Writing: C+ but my Reading C. Dapat B did not reach the required score for UK. I’m depress right now pero I told my self to never give up and keep continue to reach my dreams. Thank you Lord for the blessings. ❤️❤️❤️

this is so inspiring.. thank you so much for sharing your story.. i just want to verify, since taking OSCE is pretty expensive, this makes me discouraged to undergo his, if I fail the OSCE, DO I HAVE TO PAY THE SAME AMOUNT AGAIN FOR ME TO TAKE OSCE FOR THE 2ND TIME? sorry for my question.. gusto ko lang ma verify.. sana mapansin nyo po ako 🙂

Yes the same skills lang din gagawin mo for resit. If you failed in APIE you will get din po all your papers except the one you failed..I failed my implementation and get my papers in Assessment and planning..new Test of competency the Evaluation is verbal kaya no paper.

Based po sa NMC max of 3 attempts. Pero minsan yun Trust nagagawan ng paraan to have another 1.

Pa comment po. I just had a good cry. Babalikan ko to once UKRN na ako soon. I failed my IELTS August of 2021 and received my OET result yesterday around 9:20am ph time and i did not make the cut. Its now quarter to 3am, Jan 13. I was planning to submit a remarking for my writing, for Ireland sana. Pero i dont know, UK talaga sinisigaw ng puso ko. Im still teary eyed right now tho nakapag hilamos na ako. Just putting it here to remind me that i never gave up on my dreams once im living it na, i pray to learn the lesson this situation is teaching me and to be humble. I surrender everything to him nalang po sa ngayon 🙏🙏🙏. Im never giving up, so please help me God 😢🙏
