Build and manage a Maximum Security Prison. As the sun casts it’s early morning rays on a beautiful patch of countryside the clock starts ticking. You’ve got to crack on and build a holding cell to detain the job­ lot of maximum security prisoners that are trundling to your future prison on their yellow bus. As your workmen lay the last brick you don’t have a moment to let them rest as they need to get started on the first proper cell block so you can make room for the next prisoner intake. Once they’ve all got a place to lay their weary heads the fun can really start.
You’ll need a canteen, infirmary and a guard room, oh, and don’t forget to plumb in a toilet, or things will get messy, but what about a workout area? Or solitary confinement cells? Or an execution chamber?
Inspired by Dungeon Keeper, Dwarf Fortress and Theme Hospital and with over 1 million players having spent time inside, Prison Architect is the world’s best lock-­em-­up.
Story Mode:
Prison Architect opens with the story of Edward, a man facing the electric chair for committing a crime of passion. This is followed by four additional chapters focusing on different characters and aspects of prison life. From Mafia Dons to power-crazed senators, Prison Architect has them all! To bring these characters to life, Introversion teamed up with award winning professional writer Chris Hastings, producing an enthralling tale of corruption and human misery set against the background of the modern prison industrial complex.
Escape Mode:
Finished your supermax? Got guard dogs roving every corridor and prisoners eating out of your hand? Now you can live the horror by firing up escape mode and play as a prisoner hell-bent on getting the hell out of dodge.
Dig a tunnel, go for the armoury or start a riot and slip out in the chaos, it’s entirely up to you! Figure out how to escape from your own creation, or hit the random button and load one of the 12,000 prisons created by the steam community, whichever you choose it’s not going to be easy...

I find the game much easier when I remove the prisoners and just focus on forestry and farming. Still counts, right?

It's not exploiting a bug, it's having such a good accountant that they can fudge the documents to act like you never took a third grant while getting all the land expansion paperwork done. Conveniently losing all known evidence of that third grant.

Can you use the mutator that makes corpses catch on fire to remove the stuck body? Obviously you’ll need to turn it off straight away before your regular corpse pile bursts into flames.

Padded floors in the cells will cater to the safety need Also, think about putting the beds between the bookshelf and birdcage to fulfill both needs while they sleep You could add 1 more TV with a chair in front of it to the cells, as right now they only get the benefit of the TV while sleeping If you put 1 row of water in front of the electric fence in the yard, they won't be able to climb over it (prisoners can't go directly from swimming to climbing) I didn't see a metal detector in reception, so inmates have a chance of sneaking in weapons that won't be found during intake

Put solar hybrids on the right side where the trees are, but split them over 4 export meters

Some cells have their doors locked open. Wouldn't taking them off that option make some difference as far as effects of inmates kicking off? Additionally, I'm wondering whether cells in bottom row should have solitary and yard included, as initial solution did not work out - it could save some space to remove the former and rezone latter to canteen

im still running vanilla PA - have you figured out the 'advanced utility wiring' ? i followed the P-A.fandom website for creating a few circuits / pulse generation would be 'pretty' for helicopter pad - but the 'signal pulse' wont, for example, trigger a servo. so im yet to figure out a practical use for continuous flashing signal... im totally ignoring how to wire a multiplex or decoder - beyond me just now / its like chewing my own face while LOGIC slaps my nuts in alternative directions. im still trying to create a TRUE airlock door system > due to the instant ON signal, delayed OFF signal, door open/shut speed. frustrating! hints anyone?

i also tried to build the independant cell with solitary / common room + yard > but it doesnt work. the guards spend more time in madmax's 3x3 yard than he the madman himself. i find that often, a guard will be on 'deployment' or 'patrol' - and won't do anything / whistling as he walks past a fighty death stab party "I'm on patrol boys - carry on stabbin'!" the door locked is nonsense - as then food cant be passed through. and room becomes 'no access' - which breaks everything. fresh clothes should be able to be taken through solitary door. workers and janitors should have a 'NOPE' vision radius on angry people prisoner luxoury requirement is super annoying - they have a shop - free time schedule sync'd with 'minsec work time' . for money - forestry > workshop > i think they need the 1st or 2nd level of education to become carpenters > make fancy beds > ££££ focus on medium sec / as training costs are worth it as prisoners stay for longer. more done for less cost.
