I think it is time for Tilly to have an ultrasound. If she's not pregnant, then something could be terribly wrong - tumor or gross overfeeding of grains. She is enormous.

Norma here. I’m in agreement with a lot of the comments today. Tilly needs to be vet checked. Is she or isn’t she pregnant? If not, why is she so bloated? If she’s not currently pregnant and Gus just bred her, how much bigger can she possibly get without exploding? The fainting goats are so adorable. Funny how the pigs and Annie just ignored them. I think Annie is pregnant.

Yeah Tilly got huge fast and that is my concern. I went back and watched videos of her from beginning to now and she definitely has ballooned out quickly in 3 months that she has been there. I hope to God they get her checked out cause dwarf goats can have many more health problems compared to regular goats

Tillie is really beautiful and special. I just wish she could find a few really good goat friends to hang around with. She was so loved and pampered before coming to ISS that I was afraid the other goats would beat up on her. What a surprise when she first fiercely butted the fence, and then strutted into that pasture like a ferocious warrior queen, kicking butt and taking names. Maybe the new little goats will befriend her. They could use a strong protector, and she could have someone to hang out with. This introduction video is absolutely adorable. Trudy and Newton did not even notice the goats. All they saw was the food. Hahaha! Not at all the drama we expected. I thought Mama Annie would do the usual polite nose to nose introductory greeting and regal "I'm in charge here" stance, but she was totally over it. So far, the new beautiful little babies seem to be adjusting well. They are smart and stick closely together for safety. I hope they will be happy and make new friends at ISS. No experience here with pregnant goats but when ladies are pregnant and in the last trimester, when having contractions, they do very much like what Tilly did. It's like the baby/s becomes a basketball all knotted up and blown up, and the belly will become really really hard until the contraction goes away. That's what we saw with Tilly when she blew up like a watermelon. That was a contraction. And,... if you look closely you can see babies move on her side!! Tilly definitely looks pregnant to me.

If Tillie wasn't pregnant before...she is now. I think she should be seen by a vet, she has got to be a high risk pregnancy due to her weight. Here we were waiting for her to give birth and she was never pregnant in the first place. I personally thought there was a a good chance it was Duke who might have gotten her on one of his and Johnny's escapes! But when she readily accepted Gus Gus....yeah...nooo.... that's pretty telling. Most animals will not allow you to breed them if they are already bred. That's a dead give away. Anywhoo I hope it turns out well. He is a beautiful buck, I love his coloring. The next few weeks should be quite entertaining to say the least.
