It would be nice to have a tutorial about noise removal, especially clicking sounds not just background noise. And how to clean up the audio when there is lots of wind.
@CortneySalerno
@CortneySalerno 2 жыл бұрын
Agreed! Loving the vids so far but my main issue is the wind or static noise that comes with not recording in a studio. I'm on the free version though, so I may need to upgrade to find the automatic noise reduction feature. There are some workarounds i've noticed in the free version so maybe he can include those if he knows any for sound.

I really like that you speak slowly and repeatedly show what buttons you are using. You are good at teaching, many people speak way to fast and skip over showing exactly what buttons they are using. Thank you.

Just letting you know that this video was exactly what I was looking for without knowing I was looking for it. I tend to mumble talk during gameplay (like I talk softly but you can still hear me say the words) and I just did the dynamics thing you did so it evens out the voice and makes the soft parts louder and the loud parts softer and it's perfect. Thanks Casey!

Casey, you're a pheonominal teacher. I just wanted to express my thanks for your dedication on this channel. I started with Resolve about a month ago (and I wish I had seen this video BEFORE shipping my latest video on my other channel because my audio was trash lol). I've used your Fusion deep dive to create some stuff that I really like (a rarity for me lol), so I'd love to eventually see a Fairlight deep dive (assuming I haven't just glanced over it). Again, thank you for all that you do, it's most appreciated and I can assure you it's absolutely valued!

I have been using another software to edit my audio and dumping that into my video editing software. Attempt to sync them and go forward. I had no idea that Resolve/Fairlight could do what I need all in one program. Looking forward to your next video that shows how to have multiple audio tracks record at once.

Using the Bus function was such an eye-opener (ear-opener???)! Thanks Casey!
@StuartHetzler
@StuartHetzler Жыл бұрын
Another powerful use for bus tracks is that you can control the individual effects without affecting the source track. For example, if you create a bus track that you route some dialogue to and put a reverb and then an EQ on the bus track, that EQ will only affect the reverb and not the voice itself.

Casey, This was so helpful, no one would show me how to bring up the sound bars on the right? I think there is a way without going into fairlight too but again can't find a video on it. Again this really helped me finish editing my clip for my live tomorrow. Thank you. Blessings. GmaJo (Keeping it Real) 😊😊💕💕
