Fairmont Royal York Hotel Gold Experience - Gold Suite Tour! Toronto's Best Hotel?!?!

The historic Fairmont Royal York Hotel in downtown Toronto is one of the cities most iconic and prestigious hotels. To celebrate the end of Tom's Cancer treatment, we decided to book the Gold Suite at the Royal York Hotel, which also includes access to the Gold Lounge and it's free food. We take a tour of the hotel, its pool, restaurants and try lots of the amazing free food in the Fairmont Gold Lounge!

The Fairmont Royal York is definitely an incredible hotel, and we were thrilled to stay in a Gold Suite, even if it was for only one night! It's even impressive to just walk through the lobby. Thanks for watching, we really appreciate it :)

Congrats on ending the cancer treatment and also congrats on 2000 subscribers! I love the Royal York. We stayed in the same style suite you had. Unfortunately it was Covid so the lounge was closed, but they did deliver treats to our room. Wow that lounge was something else! The food looked amazing!!

That lounge is huge and quite beautiful. We saw Jason Priestly having breakfast there, as well as Jean Charest. You could eat all your meals there if you wanted and the food was quite good. Woohoo for the 2000 subs...thanks guys :)

Have been wondering how you were doing, so it's great to see that you celebrated the end of what must surely have been a very trying, stressful time for you both. The hotel is beautiful (unrecognizable since when I lived in Toronto) and the food looks scrumptious! This video will always bring back that special day for you too:) All the best.

It has been a pretty tough winter, so it's nice to be able to celebrate the end of radiation treatments (still another 4 months for hormone therapy). The Royal York has done a great job with renewing the suites and the lounge, and the food was wonderful. We're looking forward to a sun and sand getaway in a couple of weeks to really relax and recharge . Thanks Lili :)

Hi Terry, thanks for watching and for your kind words! To be honest we didn't really notice, but I can't imagine that kids wouldn't be allowed there. Haha, it's not easy to try and stay fit, but we always walk about 10 to 15 kilometers per day, which does help. The Fairmont Royal York Hotel was a wonderful place to stay and we really loved the Gold Suite. Thank you for watching, we really appreciate it :)

I passed by the Royal York this morning, and was disappointed that, in reference to Queen Elizabeth Ii passing & her funeral, that all the flags, especially the ones at the front entrance were completely filthy. They were absolutely atrocious. That lack of attention to detail, would give me pause as to not only a hotel that associates itself with the British Monarchy, but also with celebrities. I would question the cleanliness inside the building judging by the state of the flags outside the building which include the British & Canadian flags. Who ever is in charge, should be relieved of duty. Terrible. 0_o

@@TakeTimeToTravel : Yeah well they weren't, they were beyond filthy they looked rancid in nature. One of Canada's premier hospitality facilities should look as grand on the outside as it does inside. The flags currently being used that i saw today , there is no excuse to explain why they are in, beyond a poor condition. Please relay to ownership & management this failure to represent such a grand & historic building, in the manner & occasion required.
