It's a lovely picture, Julie. I was wondering if you have ever used the Albrecht Durer pencils dry in any book? I was experimenting with my new ones in different books, and I tried them in Flora dry as well as wet, and they went down beautifully dry also! I was so surprised. They hardly required any work, and I blended them out with a lighter color, with the white pencil, the cream pencil, and an alcohol marker blender, and each worked really well. Then I shaded back in with the same pencils on top of the alcohol to see how that worked if I wanted darker shading and that was good too. I just wanted to mention it because they have the same colors as Polychromos, of course, and they were so smooth and easy. I don't know if the paper is different depending which country they come from, but I found the Albrecht Durer easier than the prismas on my Flora book paper, but I don't know if that would be the case for others. The AD also worked well wet also.
