I LOVE LOVE LOVE how this dramas portrays mental health issues and abandonment issues because of losing a parent. It lightly deals with the topic through sameer’s story without being too preachy. It also shows how sometimes parents end up ruining their own child’s mental health because of their personal traumas. Farjad and Umeed teaming together and backing sameer against the whole family is also beautiful, shows how having a supportive partner gives you the confidence to be vocal when you see wrong happening. So wholesome and never seen before in a Pakistani drama!

The message this episode conveyed is amazing. "Meri shadi ke liye karza liya hai to karza main chukaungi Sameer nhi" was probably the best thing any female character said. Umeed's character is not just of a typical bubbly, extrovert girl. She is in fact, very wise, caring and thoughtful. She loves her family and also herself, has dreams but knows to stay grounded. She is breaking stereotypes. Her and Farjad totally deserve each other ❤ Sehar Khan is a brilliant actress.
