The one with the tree reminded me of when I was five and hid in a tree at my grandmas house and NOBODY knew where I was. I wanted them to find me, but I didn’t know how to get down so I climbed to the top, poked my head out the tree (which was taller than my grandmas two story house) and yelled “HI GRANDMA!!” She yelled at me to get down, and I had to explain to her that I did, in fact, not know how to. Long story short, I got down and we had dessert.

POV: You wake up to the sight of the walls of your tree trunk house around you. You sit up in bed and turn to your oak log nightstand, to grab your glasses and your journal. You sit on your bed and open your brown leather journal. You choose a blank slightly worn-down page, and start to write about yesterday. As your writing, you hear it start to gently rain outside. You grab your leaf print backpack, and lift up the moss curtain that is your door, and head out. The smell of damp earth floods your nostrils, as you breath in and out. You decide to start walking to your friend Fiona's house, as the rain starts coming down harder. You start singing ANY goblincore song of your choice, when you hear a familiar voice singing with you. You turn around to see a girl with short, curly, red hair with freckles in a sage green shirt, and a dark green pair of overalls. You walk to her and say "Fiona, Wow! You scared me a bit, Bud!" Fiona cocks her head and crosses her arms, as she says "what?, seriously no "Hello?" You both chuckle as you you start walking to a open rusty iron gate,. You walk into the village, and see your favorite shop keep Martha. You run up to her shop, and ask her how much the bracelet hanging from her ceiling costs. Martha replies, "just about three skips!" you reach your hand in you bag and give her three wood discs with leaves engraved in them. She collects them, and hands you a bracelet with all white beads and one dark blue bead in the center. You thank Martha and get out of the line. You and Fiona start walking and talking when you stop and smell the air. You both shout "Flapjack!", and race off to this small wooden building called 'The Pancake House'. You sit down at the bar and wave over your friend and favorite waiter. You see a boy with short black hair wearing tan pants, a white shirt with a pair of black suspenders and a black bowtie. You and Fiona greet Jack, and ask him when his shift is over, so he can come with you guys to the concert, in the middle of the village. He then says, "in about 30 minutes". You and Fiona look at eachother and say "Then we'll have the usual!" Jack smiles and says "on the house, as always!" Jack comes over with two plates of blueberry pancakes and syrup. You start eating and the flavors are RADIANT. Almost like a blueberry sugar mixture as pancakes! You look at the old clock on the wall, and see there's only 5 more minutes until jack gets off of work. You pull a deck of cards out of you bag and call Jack over to shuffle them. You place the cards and play with Fiona. Jack then creeps up behind you and says "DONE!" you both jump up, and go with Jack. I hope you liked this!
