A very groovy reaction 🛼🛼! I see 👁👁 that you have reacted to Faith Evans before: I Just Can't and Can't You Believe. Love Like This was released as the lead single from Faith Evans' 1998 album: Keep The Faith. It was written by Faith Evans, Ron Lawrence, Sean Combs, Schon Crawford and Clarence Emery. It was produced by Faith Evans, Ron Lawrence and Sean Combs. It sampled: Chic Cheer by Chic (1978). The song reached #2 on the R&B chart and #7 on the Hot 100. The music video was directed by Hype Williams and featured appearances by actress Countess Vaughn and actor Marcus T Paulk. Faith Evans was 25 years old during this music video. Impressed with her, Sean Combs contracted her as the first female artist to his Bad Boy Entertainment record label a few years later in 1994. Newly contracted to Bad Boy Records, Faith Evans was consulted by Bad Boy Records owner Sean Combs to contribute backing vocals and writing skills to Mary J Blige's 1994 album: My Life, and Usher's 1994 self-titled debut album, prior to starting work on her debut studio album: Faith. After Biggie's murder on March 9, 1997 Sean Combs helped Faith Evans produce her tribute song: "I'll Be Missing You", based on the melody of The Police's 1983 single: "Every Breath You Take". It eventually won Faith Evans, Sean Combs and 112 the 1998 Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.
