This Khutbah was recorded on October 6th, 2017 at the Euless Campus
The story of Prophet Musa (PBUH) and Al-Khidr in Surah Al-Kahf is a source of profound guidance for situations many of us find ourselves facing in our daily lives. It begins with Prophet Musa’s (PBUH) relentless commitment to learning despite the fact that Allah had bestowed so much knowledge on him that his disciples were even called the People of the Book. Although Allah spoke directly to Prophet Musa (PBUH), He decided that these particular lessons will not be prescribed. They must be experienced. In their journey, Prophet Musa (PBUH) watches impatiently as the wise man, Al-Khidr, damages a ship, kills a child and builds a wall without asking for compensation. His actions shock Prophet Musa (PBUH) until Al-Khidr explains Allah’s merciful design. No matter how difficult our trials are in this world, we must have faith that Allah’s plan is always for the best.

Alhamdulillah! SubhaanAllah! Something similar happened to me as well. I got rejected at a job interview. For me, they said they couldn't accept my Hijab. SubhaanAllah. I left the place crying. But. Some time later, I got a much better job elsewhere. They were okay with my Hijab. They even gave me a room to pray my Salaah in. SubhaanAllah. Alhamdulillah! Allaahu akbar. My advice to everyone is.... Let's try to be a good Muslim and trust Allah. He knows what's best for us.

I just met with a life threatening accident with a truck that was fully loaded but still I was saved I felt as if Allah has sent an angel btwn that truck and my car to save me… Al Hamdulillah my faith grew much stronger… Allah is the greatest… Which of the favours of your lord will you both deny ? I love you Allah … before the accident I was very restless and used to be always disappointed about my life … but Allah showed me how blessed I’m in my life …. Ayesha Kunni Talking against Nouman Ali Khan is a scary affair. Because if you say anything about Nouman, an army of mindless zombies will scare the hell out of you by saying Nouman Ali is doing God's job and talking bad about him is surely going to take you to hell. However, these screen shots will show you that according to Nouman's OWN words, Nouman Ali was NOT just preaching God's words, he was basically running a BUSINESS, a TRADE, with TRADE SECRETS, and now he is claiming that all of those have been STOLEN by Omar Suleiman, a guy whom I actually admire way more than Nouman now. I have read the Legal document, and trust me this thing doesn't sound GODLY. I can safely say that because throughout the legal document there is LITTLE mention of GOD by Nouman Ali's OWN lawyer. There is NOTHING but BUSINESS or TRADE in this lawsuit filed by Nouman against Omar Suleiman. The legal document prepared by Nouman Ali sounds more like his fight against a FOR-PROFIT FILM Maker, not about two men doing God's preaching, I am sorry. Supreme Wazoc, please go find something beneficial to do than talk about others, what they did and what they did not do. Stop choosing between scholars. Focus on the right message and not the person and their actions. At the end, we all answer to Allah and to each is responsible for their own. So PLEASE for the love of Allah, stop trying to tarnish the image of others and focus on improving yourself. Both Omar Suleiman and Nouman Khan are brothers doing a great job and may Allah protect them both with their families; and raise a million more or better kinds of them that serve only Allah for His sake. Ameen. May Allah protect us all from ourselves first, cleanse us from the diseases of the heart within us and then protect us from the outside fitna. Ameen Ya Rabb. Peace!

Supreme Wazoc Subhan'Allah, may Allah help me but may He help you too for such hatred you harbor in you. This way you are talking and acting towards others is not the way our Nabi taught us to behave. Good manners was indeed highly valued by our Rasool and so is in the Deen. That includes how you interact and talk to people. FYI, if you read my comment well, you will know that I said take the good from what the person speak of. Meaning in simple English, don't look at who the person is and what he does, rather take the good in the message they convey. Regarding all you said about him, it's all just allegations and you better be mindful of what you accuse people of because indeed both ghibah and buhtan are grave sins. That's a sincere advice for myself and you as a brother in the Deen. Secondly, it still goes back to my point earlier: What he does is for Allah to judge between Himself and those he wronged, if at all it were true. Your Hitler example has no relevance here, by the way. Again may Allah rectify both our conditions and make us focus on what benefits us, the Deen, and humanity; and keep us away from vain talks/activities or anything that deter us in progress and Deen. Ameen.

So hard to focus on the big picture sometimes. Especially when we have been given such a limited amount of knowledge, patience and wisdom. Things rarely make sense. Have full faith in Allah all while striving for more knowledge, patience, and good even when things completely fall apart. Eventually it will all make sense. Thanks for the reminder.

@Darren Thompson well i love your perspective .. i used to share it ounce to be honest .. and i lived happily too in both sides .. but i just think happiness is not the ultimate measure , cuz as you know by "happily" we both mean "moments of happiness" we're not happy all the time , that would be silly .. and that is something even the homeless feel sometimes - joy and happiness -.. but god is beyond that .. it doesn't promiss happiness nor sadness .. it doesn't promiss anything actually .. but when you look at it and try to get close and make the effort to find out the truth about the force that created you . You just realise it in a way only experience can describe .. there's a reason ppl believed in a creater , eather that was the sun the wind god statues.. they all had in them the idea that they were created .. so it's not something i can prove to you it's something only you will awaken to .. i hope you find your way and take care .

i got bad marks in my last year final exams which clearly told me that i wont be able to be on merit for medical entrance exam. that really stressed me out and i got really really worried about my future, searched about almost every field i could potentially choose but got even more confused. Now i know it is all Allahs plan and one day i will be where i am meant to be. hardwork is the least i can do, rest is Allahs plan. please keep me in your prayers💕

Alhamdulillah. When I feel down about life, especially yesterday, I listen to a series of Nouman Ali Khan lectures and wallahi, Allah grants me ease through them. "Verily, reminders benefit the believer". Masha Allah for our scholars who remind us of our Rabb in such beautiful, articulate ways. They are much needed and appreciated.

A court document is written by lawyers, Americans, why will Allah be mentioned in it; not a Muslim country! And, what's wrong in running a business along with imparting knowledge? All businesses have their trade secrets and if there are disagreements one should take it to the courts, not Facebook or KZfaq. I am not defending him, just saying that objective thinking is required. Also, his private life has nothing to do with anyone except the parties concerned. You have given some incorrect information also; his wife wasn't expecting when they divorced, there is no allegation of affairs either, inappropriate behaviour is something else. Again, not defending him just matters should be as mentioned in the allegations. Salaams

Great Khutbah sir, thank you. My dream company rejected my job application last week, without any reason at least without any reason I could see. But Allah Subhanallahu Teala know the best. This khutbah gave me a different perspective about this whole thing. Insha'Allah this rejection will be opening new more beautiful doors. So great to hear your lectures again Ustad Nouman, you have taught me and motivated me and my friends to be better Muslims. The first lecture I ever saw of yours was 5years ago, the Aya of dua in bakara and it's 15 min tafseer on Quran weekly. I had an exam the next day I I really believe this Aya along with you explanation made all the difference. I have since met you in Edmonton mosque last summer in the U.K. And I can testify that you were nothing but polite and dignified and courteous. I never believed for a second what they said about you and to be honest it's none of the ummah's business. I pray you get the chance as you said to thank the slanderers on the day of judgment and they take some of your sins inshallah.

I don’t really have enough words to describe how happy and greatful I am listening to your lectures every time ustad nauman. I had little trouble of being a patient during my toughest situations and I really use to complain about my struggle and trials I face on my day to day basis. But ever since I started listening to your lectures I have completely changed into different person I have become more patient, more kind, more humble, and more gentle in everything I do. alxamdulilah May Allah bless you and for you goodness the world needs you😊

"Ustad Nouman Ali Khan" He is contributing alot in Teachings Of Islam & Quran Masha'Allah , He made many of his brothers and sisters understand Religion in " True & Real " Words & made it easy not just to Practice our own Religion But now Allahamdu'Lillah by the help of Teachers and scholars like Ustade Nouman Ali Khan made it easy for us to call our Non-Muslim Brothers & Sisters to True Faith !! Its difficult to put all their efforts in Words but i 'd just say May Allah bless us with such Teachers and Scholars time to time & Allah may give long life to our beloved "Ustad Nouman Ali Khan" :)

Islam isn't a religion. It is reality. A Muslim is a voluntary participant in reality who accepts reality for what it is. A disbeliever is an involuntary participant in reality who denies the existence of objective reality. In the end all parties involved serve the exact purpose Allah intends them to serve with no exceptions.

Dear Numan, I am so happy to see you are focusing on doing what Allah ultimately created you for. Masha Allah. "And their description in the Gospel is as a plant which produces its offshoots and strengthens them so they grow firm and stand upon their stalks, delighting the sowers - so that Allah may enrage by them the disbelievers. Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds among them forgiveness and a great reward". S48 V29.

That was great! I'm reading the Tafsir of this Surah currently. It's amazing, the Surah and Tafsir. Thank you Brother for the great reminder about Sabr. Ha! That what my name means. My Catholic parents unknowingly gave me a very powerful Muslim name. A trait that I've been seeking to a achieve for a very long time. It feels like since my birth Allah has been slowly but surely hiding me to Islam. It took 4 decades but, ma sha Allah, I made it! Jazaakallahu Khairun.

الحمد لله Its amazingly peaceful to the heart to listen to brother Nouman interpret the Quran, these Khutbas are helping ease so much hearts and strengthen the Iman of so many, may Allah reward him abundantly in this life and the next. Words can't express the gratitude individuals like myself feel towards teachers such as Nouman for their amazing contributions to our Ummah.

for 32years of my life ( i mean 20 years of my life. since i entered islamic boarding school at 13 years old) I've never quite understand the essence of the story. today Allah give me this beautiful evaluation through scholars Nouman Ali Khan. May Allah bless Bayyinah team.

Jazakallah khair, it was so on point. I was tested 3 years ago in such a way that it altered the state of my heart into being close to Allah. After this khutba, now I know why I was tested. Allahu akbar!

I’ve struggled with trying to obtain more parenting time with my son and because of the disagreements between both of us, I have not been spending the little bit of time that I can have with him which is my fault because I felt things were not for the best. After listening today this lesson, never again will I try to question why Allah has planned this path which seems to go against everything I believe but I know now that it’s part of my journey and for that, I have gratitude .🙏 I am ready to listen now
