Truly an amazing game, but I want to draw massive attention to Father John’s faith. He is facing an absolutely ungodly combination of Malphas and Gary, he has fought his way through thousands of demons, and in his darkest times he never loses faith, and keeps true to Christianity. This is a devoted man.

Gary may qualify as one of the best villains ever. He is so DAMN unsettling and inhuman despite his follower's insistence that "He is a normal human being just like you and me" And his actions throughout the game qualify him as a truly complete monster. Even his love for Amy and his mother doesn't in any way excuse what he did. And his love for them was really fucked up.

You can really feel John's exhaustion, both emotionally and physically, by the end of this. Amy, on the other hand, feels like she just woke up, and is forgiving John for dropping her breakfast plate lol. I feel like if she was presented as if she was tortured in horrible ways for a year straight, her forgiving John would have more weight to it. Edited for clarity. I must have been falling asleep when I typed this. Also, the game is amazing regardless.

After having watched the 4hr vid of wendigoon about the game explaining the story and aspects, contexts etc im truly horrorfied of the details what the cultists have done and especially gary which makes this 8bit game with rotorscope some uniquely amazing. Even though I´m not christian, Faith became one of my favorite games for not only it s universe or gameplay, but the protagonist. He´s asmathic, has a bad knee and he is obviously scared throughout the game, and still, he continues to fight.
