Kevin Sorbo and Dean Cain are together again in Faith Under Fire, unintentionally the funniest movie of the year!
Doug Walker joins Brad to talk about what will most likely turn into a Cinema Snob episode for next year.
Faith Under Fire is directed by Joel Paul Reisig (Andy the Talking Hedgehog) and also stars Nick Vlassopoulos.

It starts with a woman killing a midget While filming a porno movie, and then cuts to her in an insane asylum. The ending has something to do with ghost and a thing dressed as a rabbit with a top hat and then she's a ghost but maybe not I'm not really sure. @BenDowdy

That's the point. If God was in your face, it would take away the ability to choose to believe. Religion is about how you focus your spirit, your energy. Faith is evidence to self of that which is unseen. Faith is an individual choice.
@AlexOlinkiewicz
@AlexOlinkiewicz 3 жыл бұрын
@@BenDowdy Faith is an individual choice. It's funny that you say that cause pretty much every Religion says you must believe in this specific Religion and if you don't you will get punished forever. Yeah, that is the equivalent of someone asking you to choose to believe in A or B and if you choose B they'll get to punch you in the face (over and over again)... that isn't much of an individuals choice when your threaten to choose one over the other.

"Kids are like that at that age." Must be nice. I always had to limit myself creatively growing up because I was homeschooled since birth and my dad never encouraged creativity or artistic freedom. Even when I started writing from a young age, everything was censored. If my works of fiction ever questioned his view of the world, there was a wooden spoon waiting for my ass. When I got to my teens in the mid-late 90s and I started writing more, well, 90s style content consistent with such things as ECW and Nickelodeon, with mild profanity and "bathroom talk," that left my ass red for a few hours. I probably would have had my room painted a certain colour as a kid, if I thought I could get away with it without being sent for "conversion therapy." Fortunately, I was thought the Little Mermaid was hot in the 80s and not Rob Lowe, so I saved myself that potential ass kicking. I had posters on my wall, the same ones I'd had since I was a toddler, that my dad put up of animals - basically until I was an adult. So you want to trigger me? Talk about how you had a normal childhood. I thought I was going to hell if I watched Degrassi High or a bunch of anthropomorphic Turtle teenagers who know karate for some reason. So to hell with this movie and everyone involved with it.

I don't care much about Kevin Sorbo, but it's really sad to see Dean Cain taking his career further down the drain these last few years. Really liked him when I was a kid, but it's hard to say the same now as an adult seeing how he constantly appears in these awful religious movies.

I used to love Lois and Cain. It's sad to see a guy who was Superman, and a very lovable one, become a bitter Trump sycophant who resorts to crap like this. Even soppy Hallmark romances would be better than this.

I wonder if Brad would ever go after a film about Islam or Judaism.

I like the alternate universe commenters like this live in where there's a whole wide release genre of equally as badly made movies from these other religions, and that critics are "simply ignoring them." And that somehow Brad's non-existent reviews of these non-existent movies makes Faith Under Fire "a good movie."

He commented a while ago that he doesn't do those because he couldn't provide informed commentary. He went to a Christian school and I believe studied Christianity to some degree so he feels at least somewhat qualified to talk about it.

See his review of "Oy Vey, My Son Is Gay" Otherwise, other religions don't make crazy shit like this

If movies like that exist, they'd probably be made in the middle east.

@@CynnamonSpyder And if they did exist, they'd probably be exclusive to those countries and not get sold in sub or dub formats elsewhere.

There a so many subjects Religious Is just a sign that there isn't any other ideas & someone wanted to hear about god or Jesus then there are churches & movies & video games are supposed to be a Escape from the Real world.

& I see these movies as a forced Confucian while movies like the Jurassic parks world franchise is a movies are movies the Religious movies are more like the Knights Templars who would only cut your Head off if you don't Accept there beliefs real movies that are out to entertain Religious movies are the opposite. 😉
