Ronald Wecht served in I Corps, South Vietnam, as a Marine lieutenant from the spring of 1966 to the spring of 1967. He saw combat in various regions of I Corps, including the Rockpile. His year of service was marked by a number of incidents reflecting the chaos of the political and social situation in South Vietnam. He shares memories of his thirteen months of service.
