This has been one of my favourite songs for a while so I thought I would give it a hoon! Hope you guys like it.

You know how people say that they cover their favourite songs and then you're like "I feel like you're lying to me..."? Well you shut your face, Journey are one of the greatest bands in the world and Faithfully is one of their greatest songs. I even wrote a song called Steve Perry (lead singer of Journey) on my first album. Actually, I think that's online... Let me find it....

Haha, oh man! That is an awesomely shit song. I used to play it with my high school band Captain Geary and the Jolly Rodgers. Teenage years. Fantastic.

Matt, I'm not one to comment on videos, much less express an opinion over youtube. You've managed to make me well up in tears via this song. I stumbled on it via a long list of links from reddit, and it has touched me in a very personal way. While I feel like I have a voice that can reflect my emotions, your version of this song truly speaks to who I am and where I am in life. You've earned a subscription. You're my favorite musician on KZfaq man, I know the comedy music is your thing, but this cover was just gorgeous. You could do just comedy stuff or just great covers and either way it'll be fantastic. Also, I recently performed a version of your Friday cover in the music department at my college and got a lot of questions about the arrangement, tried to send everyone who asked to your channel.:)

So nice! Your talent is really astounding: the multitrack arrangements you've come up with are imaginative and witty. Good to hear something acoustic (and "manually multitracked" - nice percussion!) and warm. Been a big fan for years and I think you can damn well do what you want musically. We'll listen.

Matt, I've been following you for years. I even messaged you back in the day when I was like, 15, and you talked to me for a while.. anyways In this song, I see how far YOU'VE come. I know music has always been a passion, but comedy was all I used to see from you. Your voice is so amazing. Rarely is a cover better than the original. I've been subbed for years now and this is so beautiful I actually put it in my songs playlist that I listen to on the road (I drive a lot). Matt, please please please don't ever stop. If I may suggest: an acoustic cover just like this of Olympia, WA by NOFX. Just slow it down, pick it out, and you'll add a new element to that song. I would personally like a mixture of both comedy and sheer musical talent. Sometimes you could make a video like 'The Oranges Lady', and sometimes you could make a masterpiece like this. You are a brilliant musician and comedian, so a mixture of both would be perfect.
