Faizon Love opened up to VladTV about being quoted saying that 2Pac would be alive if he didn't cross Snoop Dogg, which Faizon said is not true. He explained that Snoop was the bigger artist when he came on the scene, which led to a debate with DJ Vlad, who disagreed. Faizon also spoke about being at The Comedy Store the night 2Pac and Treach were fighting people outside.

I’m so glad he mentioned how close Pac and Treach were. Treach is still hurt till this day over Pacs murder, and how he wasn’t there when Pac was first shot in Vegas because folks was wit the BS. Pac was his friend, his brother, and he was there for Pac when sh*t got really real. Vlad, keep doings these interviews. Brings a lot of insight to situations behind the scenes that most people don’t know, or speculated about. Peace to you Treach 💙

my impression of the time I was young but still listening was that snoop at the time till around late 95/96ish snoop was the bigger star but it started shifting....and by the time snoop dropped his 2nd album it imo wasn't nearly as good as his first and it didn't sell anywhere near doggystyle....but snoop still remained very relevant and his kinda transcended into pop culture.....as his ironically in death 2pac for his music,way he lived his life,polticial stances, the beef with bad boy and others on the east, wanting to really elevate the black community,controversy around his death and dying in his prime etc. I thought 2pac had some really good music even before death row especially with thug life.

Snoop next album didn’t dropped til 96 which was a flop. Snoop has never surpassed his 1st album. He always perform his old death row shit bc that was his best music. I grew up during that era. Snoop was much bigger than PAC as far as rap at the time. Snoop was popular world wide. PAC wasn’t on that level at first.

Snoop was a bigger selling artist for a short period from 93 to 94. Pac had the number 1 album in 95 (me against the world) and it was curtains when he hit the row in 96 we know the rest. Snoop was a big fan of Pac, bit his lyrics & style. "Biatch! Mind on My Money, Money on My Mind."
