Le gasp! The first Ultra Collab has been acknowledged! I do remember you bringing up the Fresno Night Crawler in that video, so it's only natural that it would be included! It's like an American yokai! Too perfect for Solah! Spider boy! Pantom is a goofy, but neat addition! Those stats are written better than you described. Only HP is below 80, making this guy pretty potent and versatile. Plus that ability choice is great for a physical attacker! First Impression would honestly be kinda broken, so you were smart not to give it that. Lol

An American Yokai is a pretty apt description! Yeah - I played around with the stats a little after writing and recording the script. Originally the Defense stat was 67 and Special Defense was 71. (All odd numbers.) But in the end I decided to bulk it up a little bit and reduce the higher HP.

Oh, I love Pantom so much. The fact that it puppets the pants is perfect for a cryptid that is almost certainly a type of puppet. Nice work, Jim!

Pantom is an incredibly creative use of the Bug typing: Its design is so delightful, and there's something just barely uncanny about it that keeps the cryptid in the character. Its a spider that'll stomp on YOU! It's also fun to imagine how these wee trouser lads would look like animated, coordinating their true limbs with all the kicking and stomping. Another banger, man!

Thanks so much! I'm really happy you like the design! I didn't even think of the sort of dichotomy of a spider that is the stomp-er rather than the stomp-ee, but that totally works, lol And oh man - I'd love to see this guy walking around. I know how it would look in my mind but I feel like my animation skills need a major level up before I could get it out there. For sure something I'll try to do later, though!

Nice!! Fresno is a pretty cool sounding place - ever since hearing about it, I've wanted to check out the Forestiere Underground Gardens, Chaffee zoo and I think there's a pretty good art museum there, also? Anyway! Glad you like Pantom! Thanks so much!
