Hey, I know it's been a long time since you ve posted the video. However, there are a few observations I would like to make on your considerations whether the watch is an original or a replica. 1. This 550pb model was released by Casio almost a decade before. I am sure your watch was already gathering dust for a few years before you purchased it. 2. Resin or silicon straps tend to break or tear or become brittle due to heat, sweat, cold, washing etc. Wearing it constantly or even not wearing it but if it lies exposed to sunlight or weathering it loses its life. 3. I m not a promoter for ebay or any site for that matter but most likely your watch was procured by the seller from a different country this you can tell by the absence of the hologram. 4. I own Original fossil, swatch, Casio and timex all with resin straps brought from stores and can say that I ve had to change the straps at least 4 times in 2 yrs for the timex and fossil as they get cut easily by hardening.. 1 once each for swatch and Casio. 5. Yours was an already unsold but old watch and hence the strap had hardened and broke. 6. I can tell your watch is original as the chrono movements are pretty accurate & it's very difficult for replica watch makers to replicate the retrograde chrono. Even if they do, you will notice that the resetting of the 1/20 sec pointer will not be at .0 even if you correct it. 7. Check the weight of your watch it should be 100 grams. 8.as for the markings, there are chances it can get misaligned as they are hand painted and set. Due to mass production of certain models this factor of accuracy is ignored by companies unlike limited edition premium watches costing beyond 30k. 9.lastly, my bought from store fossil too has uneven radium markings. 10. Your watch in all likeness looks to me as original.

True buddy, I just observed that 99% ebay casio shit is just filled with fake watches!!

i dont know wether u have paid original cost or half price but let me tell you that the one which you are holding is either first copy or smuggled, if u have paid half of original cost then it is smuggled, smuggled are original watches it does not hold costum duties of both seller n buyer country n no vat etc that is y it is so cheap. especially when you buy Casio n u purposely say give me first copy with japan movt then they give smuggled watches n when u say give china movt they give first copy, smuggled are original with minute changes like original strap removed n fitted with poor straps like in your case but frame quality is good.

Buy the watch. Put a good strap on it. Job done and a decent watch

Sorry dude.....your watch isn't a fake. It is an authentic one. Straps might have got aged up. Sellers who store these watches use solvents to keep it clean and new. Yours is a clear case of using wrong solvents to preserve the watch....its elastomer! Your hologram is missing because, it could have been purposefully removed to be used for another 1st copy. If you had used tachymeter twice a day for 7 days and the battery lasts only for a month, then its fake.
