I used to go to Turkey a lot as I worked for a Turkish holiday company. Took my son aged about 6 - to the market to let him haggle for some souvenirs - He offered more than the guy asked !! He is not a reseller............... he is a teacher now and hopefully understands numbers better.

This was like Cheetham Hill in Manchester until they closed it all down. The Turkish fakes were the best there. Some indistinguishable from genuine items.

This brings back memories. I found the whole shopping experience too stressful in Turkey, almost dragging you into the shops if you even glanced into a window. I found some of the traders had a couple of English phrases and said it in a London or Yorkshire accent. Sounded great until you tried to talk to them.

I agree. I hated Antalya for the same reason! We stayed in Lara beach and the shops near our hotel were nowhere near as bad. Amazing thing is, they had the new Liverpool away shirt before it was confirmed!

We went last year definitely an experience one trader even smacked my husband on the ars as they were both haggling hard think the haggling process once into it was really good even kids did it also. Eldest son also bought pants and we’re to small went back to get more 😆😆😆😆 they must get loads of people like this and then have to re buy .

Great vid as always! I went to Oludeniz about 10 years ago, I'm sure it was Fethiye market that I got my fake Mulberry leather purse. It's still going strong to this day! - Although, I think it's about time I went back for a nice shiny, new one! Did you get yourself a new wallet in the end?...or do we have to wait and see! 😁

Turkish markets are very cheap for Europeans due to the exchange rate difference, for example 1 euro = 35 Turkish lira, this explains everything actually.

Ayup buddy, just recently come across your channel and loving the content binged quite a few now. But I'm just curious.... some of the things you pick up and say the resale price I'm actually amazed, some things I wouldn't expect the price you say. So now you have got me thinking, I was an avid action man lover when younger majority being early to late 90s. I do have a few large boxes of figures and accessories.. around 5 or so actually still boxed and un used.. would there actually be any value to these ? I am Turkish, the products here are 3 quality original 5000 Turkish coins, 1 quality 1500 TL, 2 quality 1000 TL, 3 quality 500 TL, the ones bought in this video are of poor quality.

Hey honestly, you have a great time. Everybody is so super friendly and they do prefer pounds believe it or not. So if you can get plenty of broken down change and notes you’ll probably do just a little bit better! Honestly, you really enjoy it 🤝🏼

There are different levels of fake . The best I bought was in Bodrum . Good leather bags and purses . The worst was marmaris . Plastic crap … he said it was leather .I knew it was plastic . I got some trainers for a friend I wanted 9 he gave me an 11 luckily we went for coffee and I checked. I went back to change them . He didn’t have a 9 so I asked for my money back . I was sworn at and told to F off . Then my hubby came into the shop as he heard the shouting . I got my money and the man ran into the back of the shop
