I think the ones she scammed are not angry at her for the money they have “lost” but because someone from below their class (plebs) did it and now they want to finish her. 275k is probably what these people spend carelessly in a week. Everyone defending the rich should always remember that most rich people scammed their way to the top anyway.

Exactly. Very self-centred person who doesn’t care at all about how her actions affect others. People like her who have no love for others tend to not have (real) love for themselves either. They think they’re winning, and they feel powerful, but they’re just sad examples of people who don’t love themselves - at least not in the real sense of the word.

So what? Do you really think that rich people have become rich through honest work? I'm not talking about the middle class, I'm talking about the really rich. The only problem is, she got caught and had no money. As if anything about the real estate market or credit institutions wasn't morally questionable. She shouldn't have ripped off her friend, but besides that... it could have worked out with the loan.

He didn't live in the US. Anna lived in the US. There is a difference. It's so damn easy to disappear in Europe where it isn't as easy to disappear in the US. The countries with Schengen laws don't check passports when traveling by train, bus, Tram, taxi, or personal car. I lived in Germany and Switzerland for awhile. It was so damn easy to cross into Switzerland, Germany, France, Spain, etc. I did a road trip with my husband from Switzerland to Spain. We weren't stopped at the French boarder or Spainish boarder. There was one time we didn't realize we crossed into France. The thing that gave us a clue that we were in France was because road signs went from Spanish to French. The only time I needed to show my ID is at the hotel. I only had my ID checked by boarder control when traveling to Germany once. The Germans were looking for a criminal.

You have to remember that the Tinder Swindler did not technically steal any money from those women. Those women were stupid enough to voluntarily open up a credit card account/ take out multiple loans and give him the money to spend. He spent their money with their permission, but lied to them about what he was spending the money on. At best, he took them for the fools they were and stuck them with the bill because nothing was in writing or had his name on it. Scam artist, for sure.

Wow! After listening and watching the real Anna Sorokin, Julia Garner deserves an Emmy. What a great actress.

@@Cardenasbrend I watched Ozarks with her and her southern accent. That German accent was all over the place. However, she played a great role.

GOOD. I saw another interview where she said she felt she did nothing wrong & those who she swindled, pretty much deserved it. So glad she is out the USA!!
