People who are into the full restoration stuff are missing out on all the fun when it comes to rat rods ! I love the way you are going with this project ! Very excited to see the next video ! My 76 F100 came with great patina already on it. Your paint job makes me want to do this to my daily driver !!!!!!!!!!

You spot on about the resto/hot rod guys missing out! Just yesterday talking to a guy who was complaining about the cost and headaches of that perfect paint job 😂 Think the wifey might not like "treating" the daily driver... That is if you have a "boss"! 😂

Wow!! Just like the good old days. Taping up the vehicle with newspapers, long hair, flip flops and no mask. All he needs to add to that is a cigarette and some classic rock playing while he's spraying.🤣

Div, I have really enjoyed your videos since I found your channel and subbed. These videos regarding faux patina are of special interest. I aquired a Harley Davidson bicycle frame a few years ago and have built it completely, including recovering the big boy seat with black leather myself . I'm planning to tear it down and give it a "Rat Ride" finish. I appreciate your instruction and now have confidence that I can put a cool finish on it. Thanks.

COOL...You read my mind, was contemplating something similar for my bakkie. (But with a little more prep work, Hahahah)...I LOVED THE HIGH TECH EXTRACTION SYSTEM...NEED TO INVEST IN ONE OF THOSE...Cant wait for the next stage....like watching paint dry....Keep the videos coming. Stole the extraction system from my wife... now she wants a new one, says that one is too dirty now😂 Too much prep work will lessen the patina effect in my mind. As long as you have a key for the paint to stick (sanding some), the scratches and dust will just add to the worn effect...
