I used the spray foam that you use around your pipes and just sprayed long straps on waxed paper and when dry i broke it up in pieces. I then just brushed a little light yellow paint on them . Used clear school glue to put them in my popcorn box . Looks so real.

I wanted to do this but I couldn't find any packing peanuts and I had some pieces of spray foam insulation it was already yellow so I cut it up in little pieces and I glued it to the top of a cup and then just follow the rest of your tutorial, it turned out so cute you are such an inspiration. Hi Cindy.....first time here! I saw on IG that to get rid of glue string. Get your hair dryer on hot and quickly go over your project and they dissappear......maybe worth a try. So glad I found you ❤❤Sandy

I've seen where if you crinkle the peanut in your hand it forms more like popcorn.. Squeeze it, roll it and then watch it form. I watched a gal do this using the cheeto shape peanuts

Hi Cindy, I've been wondering how you made this one. A little trick for you, when you are done gluing, just run your hair dryer over it for a few seconds, it will melt all the glue strings.

I have seen other people use a hair dryer to get rid of the strings. It only takes a few seconds.Hope this helps with the strings.

I found a glue stick today at Walmart, its by ad tech called premier glue sticks. it says it has 80% less glue strings, right on the front of the box. and it wasn't expensive! I tried to send a pic but couldn't see where to do so lol.

You might want to use a blow dryer for the glue gun strings not to close though it melts them 😉

it also says 20% stronger than gorilla glue. my fingers are crossed that it's as good as it says.

@@peepthisyall absolutely, I bought them and tried them for the first time today, because I to get driven nuts by glue strings, and I have to say I was completely shocked because it actually does what it Says. Try them, you'll love em.
