Honestly, I have one of these things, and its pretty fun for me, its characters are funny and don't make sense is what I'll say that is bad. But overall it's pretty fun.

I spent more than a dollar on it and I still think it was worth it. There are easy solutions to both the reset button on the front and the resetting when you drop it. Sure real tamagotchis are better but also cost $50 now. I would probably rather have this than a tamagotchi mini. More to do in this than the mini. I say it’s worth it especially with the low price tag as long as you have a hot glue gun! The solutions are as follows: Solution to drop reset: open the battery plate and take the metal piece, and batteries out. Put a little bit of hot glue on the batteries to hold the in place in their spots. Hot glue the small metal piece back on connecting the to batteries using hot glue. If needed, put a blob of hot glue on the inside of the removable battery piece which will apply pressure on the piece of metal and batteries when screwed in. Done! Solution for reset button on front: Simply cut the button, or put a blob of hot glue over it and make sure it fully dries before use.

My daughter ordered this and it came in a dinosaur egg and she loved it. She also said that the sound it makes depends on what pet you choose. She finally got off the screen of her laptop thanks to this Tamagotchi!

To be honest with you this one is better than the new tamagotchi mini that came out for the anniversary. The new legit one doesnt even jave a menu or games. This one is cheap material but has alot more stuff to it. I got one on wish, it has a different plastic carcass but the programminh is the same.

The noises are awful! I had to laugh at all the silly characters on this thing. For as cheap as this toy is, it does look like fun. I do not expect great quality in imitation Tamagotchis from China, but if they can entertain me for a little bit, then as far as I'm concerned, it's not a complete waste of money.

Back in the days I had no money for a real tamagotchi, so I decided to go to my corner store and buy those magazines, who had this Tamagotchi inside. I loved this thing, but it was weird and sometimes it made weird sounds. I destroyed it every time I got scared of. It was a nice and creepy childhood experience :D

tbh I bought one and its pretty fun to play with it. Worth a dollar or maybe even two, but when i was scavenging the internet these guys were sold on dutch sites for 9-10 euro in a new box. I think it's okay and pretty good damn "coding" to make these for a buck. They would've been sold for higher and that was the idea, since interest died down they try to get rid of them and some are even old or have been beaten up by the storing conditions. If you buy one dont expect it to much or buy a few and see wich one works the best.

I had something like this, which has the exact same firmware, but with 2 (two!) reset buttons, which are even disguised as "left" and "right" buttons. That was the worst experience with an electronic game ever.

The screeching sounds it makes, and the fact that someone sent your Tamagotchi shit in the mail is just creepy XD haha. Also, the buttons stick out soooo far! I mean, that's kind of nice compared to how the buttons were on the real Tamagotchi, but jeez...the buttons on this one are kind of ridiculous lol.

Tbh even though there is a lot of garbage from China if you buy products from legit Chinese companies then the quality is good.

There's a reset button in back too. It's just above the one screw. The hollow looking hole. I have one of these fakes too, but mine is blue and green, 168 in one, and actually works somewhat decent. I am a Tamagotchi collector, and just bought it to add to the collection. It even has Spongebob and Patrick on it, as well as some poorly represented real Tamagotchi characters.
