Density test. Weigh it, submerge and divide the numbers. 10.5 for silver

Some great tests. You can also use the magnet test which is non destructive. Great video sir.

Bullion Silver Eagles are only sold directly to qualified bullion dealers from the US Mint. That's why you want to buy from the big names like APMEX and SD Bullion. The US Mint only produces the proof and what they call "uncirculated" to the public at a pretty substantial markup.

More accurate scales are less than $10 from eBay, and micrometers are less than $30 at Menard's.
