The potato and scallion dumplings were probably supposed to be something like pierogi, which is a Polish dish that is very popular. So it sounds a lot like Polish Chinese fusion lol

😂🎉I agree with grandpa's attitude about well prepared and tasty food at reasonable prices verses food that is excessively priced because of its unique looks. Not worth the expensive price tag no matter how tasty. How about cultural food from India or Pakistan for him to try next?💚🤗

love your videos with your grandpa. I went to the same dimsum restaurant with my grandmother (popo) i agree that place is crazy expensive! I couldn't believe how much I spent just on dimsum in quincy! i am still recovering from it too haha... I will def try Rubato next time I am in quincy.

Next time you go to dim sum in Quincy, take your popo to East Ocean on Billings waay better and have a lot of solid old school dim sum. It's our current fave in town

Value that wonderful Grandfather of yours, he is Awesome. I have no Grandparents left and was never able to really have a relationship with them because they lived in the city and we lived in the country. I really wish I had a true relationship with them. I adored my Great Grandfather he would come and stay with us for a couple weeks every now and again. He was a very special man, like your Grandfather. Cherish him and please give him a hug from me. I really wish more of our youth valued their elders like you do, so many of them just have no idea what value they have and the things they can teach. Our elders are our vision to the past that is being destroyed more and more everyday.

evidently Evan you and grandpa have a close relationship and able to enjoy the meals....make memories because not everyone is lucky to have grandpas to share the moments. Fusion is all fluff and gimmick....but it is nice to see what new ideas or gimmicks...let the millinials or gen Z enjoy the fusion and let us old folks stick to the tried and true old fashion food
