Tbf castles did historically house quite a lot of people, between royals, their families, their courtiers, their extensive staff, and diplomatic/extended family/noble visitors (who would stay for a while due to how long it would take to travel iirc)

As an Australian, it blows my mind that not every country has their toilets in a separate room. Here in Australia, it is not uncommon for ensuite bathrooms to have the toilet in the bathroom. But the main bathroom and toilet are always separate (unless you live in a tiny apartment). Usually, the toilet (toilet room) is found right near the bathroom or in the laundry. Toilets don't often have a sink in the room. Usually, you walk into the bathroom to wash your hands or use the laundry sink outside the toilet. But in some cases, the toilet is more of a powder room with a sink and mirror as well as the toilet. When we built our house, the original plan had the toilet open to the rest of the ensuite with only a privacy nib wall. The ensuite also didn't have a door between it and the master bedroom. We fully closed in the toilet so that we could close the door while pooping and not stink out the ensuite. We also added a sliding door between the ensuite and master so that if one of us was awake earlier or later than the other, we wouldn't wake each other with the ensuite lights.

The description in castle build mentioned the castle was erected in 17th century (way too late for medieval period), so I wonder if we have a Neuschwanstein situation here.

14:12 to be fair to the place, Sharm El Sheik has the beautifully stunning Al Sahaba mosque though, which is just a great piece of architecture imo (wether you're of any religion or not). But yea, not really as much pyramids and pharaohs etc, and it's a very touristy-resorty destination that is likely full of influencers these days :')

I would love an expansion pack that's based off of literally any country/locale that isn't something they've already done. Seriously, anything other than typical "Western" countries. South America, Egypt, any other part of Africa, Baltic regions - just _please_ give us something other than North America! (and yes, I know they've given us Japan and Thailand inspired worlds, but we need more!

@FGG: The simlish on the old map seems to say AMAE ACLE STAR. Not sure if it was supposed to be one word. This could be wrong, they don't always use the alphabet consistently. Also it's fuzzy so not 100% sure.

FGG not knowing that ALL rooms at a saloon were for the same purpose.... and not as an inn... made me giggle.

Frankly, pyramids of Giza being next to modern buildings is fairly accurate. There is a whole ass city next to them in real life.
