Damn, this song hits different when you’re thinking of divides death. Divide was the artist. Divide, i hope you’re looking down on us all and thinking: “Wow, I have made something truly amazing.” I don’t know why i let out all this sad stuff, i guess the song just gives off a sad vibe. Thank you Divide. You will be missed. Edit: the fact that Divide was the artist is quite upsetting. The last thing he did before death was drawing some amazing sonic.exes. The work that man has done is absolutely beautiful. As a terrible artist myself, people like divide inspire me. Even when the worst of times happen, always try your hardest.

The narrative dissonance(i think is the term) in this song is AMAZING, The vocals sound like nothing's really wrong, while the instrumental hints at many, MANY THINGS being wrong and potentially life-threatening and black sun kinda causes both of these outlooks to collide VIOLENTLY, creating a chaotic, dissonant song.

I'm so upset to hear about Divide, not because of the just his amazing potential, and us losing a good member of the community... but because he by far, made the best interpretation of a Sonic.exe, his idle is very subtle and it literally screams: "This is sonic, but something is very off... he looks like sonic, he sounds like sonic, but something just doesn't feel right." His appearance and movements were that "just under your nose" that a real, respectable .exe should honestly be, compared to what all the others are. (Far too obvious and overdone, too in the face, and are failures as psychologically horrific ideas.) This will always be my ideal, my perfect, and favorite rendition of a .exe. Rest in Peace, Divide, and thank you for what you made.

Thinking about it, one way to tell the faker isn’t sonic is how slow the song is. Sonic’s cocky personality and frequent use of his speed are recognizable from a mile away (especially since he’ll most likely be able to get to you in a short time from said mile). This song is super slow and chill, and sonic can be chill at times, but I think we all know he’d be super excited to be challenged to something.

I love the heavy melancholic tone of this song, it feels really introspective, it honestly makes the interactions between BF and Sonic seem incredibly intimate, I legitimately forgot GF was even present in the background of this fight. This kind of feels like a moment where Sonic.exe has stopped its rampage and is just reminiscing of how things were before, not necessarily in a mocking fashion, more like it's comparing the "now" with the "then". Which actually kinda matches with the more "normal" Sonic look it has in this fight and the name of song, it's an attempted reenactment of the "before" but it feels incredibly forced. Overall, most of my favorite songs in this mod have a slightly melancholic feel to them, and I like that. Sure, Sonic.exe is a powerful, demonic entity that thrives on chaos and destruction, but that doesn't mean it can't take the time to look back on everything that's happened and all it's done. I don't even know if this makes any sense, I just wanted to gush about how much I like this part of the mod.

Faker, officially named "EXE", is old Sonic with several alterations that give away he's a faker. His character is used in an upcoming Sonic.EXE game. Honestly, his design is incredible as he looks just enough off from the actual Sonic that you don't necessarily get alarmed by it, but sufficient to give away a vibe that you know something is wrong.

Unfortunately, revie (the person who made the song) did something awful and they will delete the songs Faker and Black Sun, but they will be archived by other people and might become a minimod where there is a week of 3 songs of faker Sonic.
