Thank you for your time putting the video segments together, I am like you can build but my flying needs more stick time. Seems I get stuck building for others. I like canopy glue if cured over nite it hold great used it on many EDF jets. Good advice on the canopy will take care when building mine!

Great video, how did you know how long to make the struts? Did you have to measure the cutouts on the wing or where they not cut out yet? What ground angle were you shooting for?

I first shortened my struts as they visually made the aircraft stand off the ground too high. I like shorter struts as to keep the fulcrum distance short. That helps with the landing gears ability to take a rougher landing without ripping loose. I went for the almost level ground angle, maybe a little nose down. My experience is that this style of airframe pretty much floats off the runway without hardly pulling back on the stick. The slightly nose down has helped with landings to keep the thing from bouncing back into the air during those not to perfect landings. Speaking of landings, the Falcon-120 lands like a kitten with full flaps. It is amazing!

I BOUGHT THREE NEW ELECTRIC RETRACTS FROM HOBBY KING FOR $80.00 , REINFORCE THE RETRACT MOUNTS AND LEARN TO LAND SOFTLY .

I do not understand why with a Falcon 120 that I bought for $150.00 new , anybody would spend $700.00 on retracts for this jet .

You're absolutely right. It doesn't make much sense. Ha My reasoning behind it was that I'm not a very good pilot and it seems like I keep tearing landing gear off of my heavier airplanes. I told myself that if I got this plane I would put the best Lane in gear that money could buy on her to be able to absorbency some of my less than accurate landings at times. it turns out that this airplane with its huge flaps lands like a kitten and the landing gear was overkill. however I am building another one and putting a K-80 turbine on it. I have been drooling over the latest trailing link electric break retracts that are almost $900. I am still a firm believer in super quality retracts. The only issue I have with the current airplane are the brakes. They don't respond as quickly as I like them too. Electric brakes are almost instantaneous on and off which makes for a much more controllable stopping ability. Check these babies out. www.dreamworksrc.com/catalog/Pro-Link-Falcon-120-Electric-Gear-Combo-Pro

By putting the best landing gear in the world on this jet , is not going to help if you still come in for heavy landings .

Actually it does. I have bent so many landing gear with heavy landings. The gear that I have on the plane now I have really dropped it out of the sky to the point where I thought the gear was going to be bent all up and to my surprise they were in perfect shape. It's probably the single most important thing that I put on that aircraft and well worth the extra money.
