I was thinking of getting the external ac controller but i cant drive with anything in the cup holder even if just the lids open on my ba so thats now a nope from me 😂

@Homer because their unit's are riddled with bug's (extremely bad one's), their customer support is horrible and they do not take responsibility for their product's.

How did you pair the key fob im having troubles

It's tricky 1)so you gotta get in close door key in ignition turn it to on (first click to turn the head unit on) 2) pull up the ac controlls look at where you're rear demist button is and rest your finger over it 3)turn the ignition off and on then 4) as soon as you click the ignition of and on again (dont take too long) press where the rear demist button is 3 times (around 1/2 sec appart) and your door locks should 5)cycle then press unlock on ever how many remotes you want to pair then open door close it and test all buttons rc

G’day Trent, at the 5 min mark you explain how it has on screen door open animation? How do you get it to show that? Where is that setting? I can’t find it on mine? Cheers

I'm not sure about the settings with that, myne just did it straight out of the box. Not sure if all falcons have this option though? As this is In my xr8.

Hey man, is it worth getting? I've heard the fg kayhan audio icc has so many issues over ver 1 and 2 but haven't heard much people talking about the bf and ba icc. Apart from the issues that were resolved, have you any other issues lately? Cheers man

Hey mate yea its great i haven't had any other issues as yet. I have it connect to my wifi at home so I let it do any Google services updates that it requires. I mainly only use Spotify and the aircon controls mostly. It's not a daily driver I only take it out every few weekends, but havent come across any real issues. It's pretty much just a tablet so just don't download junk apps that slows it down and should be sweet.

I'm guessing you could run a usb disc drive to it and stick it in your glove box.

Door open and close icons? Myne worked straight away and to remove the icon if you want to leave a door open just double tap the icon

@@trentxr8 on screen it was showing the door as the driver side and driver side rear when its a ute. Got it sorted though. Now im trying to figure out why i have to set agarma car launcher as default every time i turn the car on. Seems to forget after an hour

Did you find the air-conditioning working as expected. Mine I can't turn off a/C max on the touch screen and infact I'd does not MAX as expected

Hey mate make sure the plugs that plug into the icc are pluged in properly if there not pushed in really tight it will do this it did with myne, first up as one plug was not pushed in hard enough they take abit of force to get some of them them clipped in, give that ago

@@trentxr8 thanks, one other question, when I plug in an external microphone it won't work at all, only the inbuilt mic works but is almost useless as it's extremely low volume. Is there a setting that activates the external microphone? Thanks

@@trentxr8 I finally got their support to confirm that the pin configuration of the mic are incorrectly wired! They ship these dud mics and asked me to pull the black pin out of the header and move it down! This is hack no. 10 for me with all, just as well I'm persistent!

On the aesthetic side the dual zone ICC looks much better and blends nicely in the dash. This looks so weird and bland.

Buy Kayhan units at your own risk there is now a ACCC action in place for selling test units for the past 2 years faking specs and extremely poor support and refund issues. These units are known to drain your car battery. I too thought this unit was great till I started to get issues and requested support in the end they stopped helping and blamed my car this is there policy at the end of the day your car at faulty. These guys are Indians ripping you off and ignoring Australian consumer laws. Audio Installers around Australia have started to stop selling Kayhan units as they can not longer put up with large number of complaints and Kayan refusing or delaying refunds.

@Homer It's still ongoing and it's not slander when there's a youtube vid full of discrunteled buyers plus a Ford forum full of them as well try goggleing it it's not hard. If you google Kahyan look at the review page select reviews by lowest ratings there's a real long list of extremely unhappy customers with all there troubles. Also look over at here www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11474439&page=30 it's 30 pages long of all the issues that everyday drivers have had with the units till this very day and how you will get treated by kayhan espeically when refunds are involved.

@Homer I would just go to ASL and get your faulty screen replaced or upgraded to have satnav it’s what I did there’s nothing wrong with the Ford head unit.
