If I also want to install the immobilizer. I would need the deshell with wire harness for my zero 9, is that correct? Can I combine the speed limiter & the immobilizer without any bigger effort? Does this thing somewhat hate cold? I have this installed on my scooter, was riding today with it turned off, until it suddenly turned on without me pressing the remote. I tried pressing the remote to turn it off again, but nothing happened, the limiter stayed on. Normally it makes a click sound when you press the remote, but now it did nothing. Remote had battery since the blue LED lit up when I pressed the button. I waited a couple hours to let the scooter get back to room temperature, as it was -1c outside. I gave it a shot again and now the limiter works as it should and I can turn it on and off again with the remote. I have no idea what caused this issue, but my only guess is that it really does not like cold that much? Since the actual speed limit gets lower too when you ride in the cold, for an example if you set the speed limit to 25km/h while in room temperature, you are going to get around 20kmh max when you ride it in the cold. And yeah I'm aware that setting the speed limit to what you want it to be can be a hassle since the speed limit is different while free wheeling it and while actually riding it. Took me a while to get it right and it still ends up being too low in cold weather, but I guess there aint nothing I can do. But should I assume that using this in the cold is a bad idea since it decides to start limiting my speed on it's own and does not want to turn off even with the remote? Not to mention that the speed limit gets even lower in cold weather. And then it does the opposite in room temperature if you are trying to set it up, while free wheeling the scooter you notice the speed limit slowly going up and not staying at the speed you set it to...

Hi Falconpev, I bought this last week and it arrived really fast in Belgium thanks! I’ve installed it which was quite easy as shown in this vid. But now there’s something weird, mounted on a box my max speed is 70km/h, but when I actually riding it its 35km/h. What could the issue be? When I activate it with the remote max speed is 20km/h which is nice. Thank you for advising!
