@@burtknighten4438not a 3rd or 4th rounder at 8 no way to justify it he's made of glass and already had multiple shoulder and knee injuries also a wist injury etc the pick is what makes the falcons a joke you don't reach for a qb just because there is a run on them in rd 1 🤪 they could hv taken a qb nxt year or down the rd if they wanted a security blanket that has an injury history, there everywhere and they could hv made a trade its unbelievable how bad this was and what a braindead pick this really is

If Burrow is healthy and the Bengals are making a playoff run, does anyone think Higgins will be sitting out if they can make it to the AFC Championship or SB? I can see a player taking care of themself if they’re on a losing team and hitting FA. Higgins is a selfless baller and wants to win.

Calais Campbell's presence alone would benefit the Falcons... no need to start. Secondly, WHY would they get Higgins now?? They've got a pretty full WR room. Not to mention TEs. *Atlanta NEEDS another vet on the O-line.*

I think the falcons are set for now , they don’t have the money and I don’t think they are willing to do a lot of restructuring contract , it will be group quarterback pressure , if they make any move I think it would be in the secondary, they have enough pass catchers in my opinion, I want to see Robinson as a big part of the receiving corps because of what he can do in open space they don’t need anymore receivers, Tee Higgins for 20 plus million a year forget that.

1 I am so pissed off about the Penix trade it really hurts our chances to WIN NOW and the Ruke Draft Pick again a development futures player (vs the DAY 1 PLAYERS that were there DeJean KoolAid Adonai Newton Sweat etc) imo the ONLY thing that can take the STINK of the STUPID waste of resources that Penix represents and makes their Win Now Promise good to Kirk so it doesn't appear that they LIED to him (which they did) is one more PROVEN PLAYER being brought in be it Tee Higgens, Hendrickson, or any other YOUNG STUD @ WR EDGE CB or S instead of the large class of FAs they have signed that are truly not impressive - even Mooney is a real question mark - get 1 (or more) Proven mid to late 20s player in here in order to save face if nothing else. 2 Is there any other team in the NFL that advertises how close they were to stud players but then missed out THEY ACT LIKE IT'S A POSITIVE THING it is not it is FAILURE they are advertising they are failures. They missed out on Hunter Reddick Sweat and trading back into the 1st round LIKE SERIOUSLY WTF is that but failure etc) They need legit big signing or trade. Trade next year's first for Hendrickson DO WHAT IT TAKES FOR ONCE and SUCCEED IN bringing a young stud to ATL.

@@MumRah Honestly the only move i didn't like from the Draft was wasting a 3rd round pick to move up to get Ruke. I don't even mind ruke but i didn't like him enough to give up a extra 3rd to get him. The Penix pick im fine with because it will save us tons in a year or 2 in extra players. I look at it like this in 2 years we would have to draft kirks eventual replacement anyways at his age. If kirk is as good as ppl say he is then we will be drafting 15 to 32 atleast. That means you have to trade from that far down to top 5 to get your QB of future. Thats gonna cost atleast multiple 1sts and 2nd's and maybe a good player. Like what the Panthers did all for us to go after a weaker QB class on a player worse than Penix. I would rather just use 1 pick now on a better QB prospect let him learn for a year or 2. Than waste multiple high round picks and possibly a good vet player like dj moore was 2 years from now. I'll take my chances on those 5 picks or so working out and being better than just the #8 edge rusher now.

@Falconsriseup we spent 100mill+ and gave up on the now at the same time. Penix might not pan out like most QBs. On top of that we will still have to figure out how to protect him and sack the other QB. Our OL is bad, McGary is the worst AND he will be covering Penix's blindside. This team Always trades up in the 2nd round. No matter what. It's like they make moves because they think it's what you're supposed to do instead of deciding why themselves.

This is why the FALCONS SHOULD BE IN WIN NOW MODE an top 10/5 OL but with an aging player at LT and soon to be aging RT. They have legit #1 WR 2 #1 RBs # 1 WR and a top 6 QB (players voted Kirk #6 and he played like it last year KOC said he was on his way to an MVP year) who plays the same as Burrow in regular season and playoffs. Defense has a stud CB (contract coming up) and a stud FS and some above average LBs and DL (the DL are aging rapidly) but there are young players on the DL and in the secondary with potential. This is WIN NOW MODE you need to draft Day 1 players not developmentals like Ruke but okay it's done FIX your mistake ADD A LEGIT BIG TIME WR like Tee Higgens AND/OR make a trade (trade #1 next year) for a proven STUD DEFENDER someone like Hendrickson someone on the outs with their team... they missed on so many free agents and trades (Sweat / trading back into 1st round / Hunter etc) for once SUCCEED.

You will see them fail to be able to even manage a 1 yard push at home on the goal line or them spending half of every game getting knocked flat on their backs.
