For best friends Becky (Grace Caroline Currey) and Hunter (Virginia Gardner), life is all about conquering fears and pushing limits. By far the most effective movie I’ve ever seen. I have never been more agitated and on edge through basically an entire movie. After finishing this I’ve never been happier to be able to walk around in my own home.

Yeah me to. I am a horror movie junkie and I have yet to find one horror movie that made me so anxious throughout the whole movie. I even covered my eyes a time or two.

For reall!!! Every second after they started climbing that tower. My hands were sweating the entire time. My heart was pounding the entire time. I was anxious. Really anxious. Scared even. I held my breath a lot. It got too much for me at times and I had to pause it and take a break. This movie is honestly one of the best I've seen in years.

Lionsgate dropped the ball with this one. It should have been released in more theaters, would have made them a lot of money. Audiences loved it and it's the kind of flick you have to see on a big screen. I live in NYC and I couldn't even find a movie theater close by where it was playing, had to go to Manhattan to watch it. You screwed up there, Lionsgate.

Definitely the most surprisingly great film I saw this summer in the theater. I wish more people saw it. I'll probably buy the Blu Ray so I can show it to friends one day on my projector. It's a sweaty film to watch be warned.

This is by far one the very few movies that made me sweat , palms as well. This could have made so much more money but not released everywhere. Truely a Amazing Thriller. Makes you feel your there.

Watched it Sunday and I still get stressed just thinking about it. I almost turned it off half way through because I was so tense. If you want a movie to keep you on the edge, then this is the one. Watch on as big a screen as you can and hold on.

Exactly. a great deal of the time I was wondering why no one thought to wrap that rop right around the structure... Clip themselves in, and start climbing down.. At least one of them.. to call for help..

I feel I had similar dreams just like this, but not by my own choice to get high as they do. By the way, I don't think if you don't conquer fear, you will be always living in fear. You don't conquer fear, but control your feelings. Fear is part of our natural reaction to danger and then alerted, as long as you can maintain the sanity. So I think keeping the right amount of fear in me is very healthy.

It’s an incredible take on horror slash suspense. I feel like it’s so innovative in a way that we could turn in the news tomorrow and a similar story ti this would pop up, it makes it even more terrifying because it could be real

For a 3 million dollar budget film I have to say it definitely does the job heightening your anxiety and fear of heights.. there is a lot of hate about the CGI but I actually don’t think it’s that bad. Yes the ladder falling looked way to fake but apart from that I think they did a good job.. actresses were both great. Plot twist was meh the same producers did 47 meters down so the hallucination scene wasn’t a big surprise but was stilll smart and even gave you more anxiety. Becky’s acting after realising hunter was dead was 10/10. The cry and the scream was definitely something else. Great film. Would watch it again with friends to see there reactions.

I found this movie in the $5 bin of movies at Walmart. Didn’t think much of it so I bought it popped some corn and fed the disk into my ps5. I don’t regret paying the price that I paid for it. It’s worth watching very intense and a bunch of jump scares that’ll keep your eyes occupied. 6.5/10

Great concept, terrifying visuals and it definitely instills that fear you. What it’s lacking is realistic effects of climbing. I’m not a climber, mind you, but I do a lot of rappelling. No one climbs 2,000 feet straight up and isn’t drenched in sweat. The same no one would have serious hand and muscle fatigue, yet these girls can just pull one another up and climb up that 10mm rope. It would’ve been better had they hired they hired actual climbers to advise on stuff like that.

I agree 100%, I’m a climber and everyone knows you really can’t climb up climbing line , hence every climber usually Carries what we call ascenders . All of that aside it was a great gut wrenching , sweaty palm, action packed movie that leaves the audience with serious anxiety lol.

This movie has 3 lookalike moves: 1 *Frozen* 2010 with the three skiers trapped on a chairlift out in the freezing ski center 2 *47* *Meters* *Down* with two friends going on a dive and being trapped 47 in the sea 3 *12* *feet* *deep* 2017 with two sisters trapped in a closed swimming pool .

@@gimme3378 I’ll be honest!! It was ok until a very silly twist which was a carbon copy of a previous film from same producers. This film also suffers from the same issue as many similar films in that you stop feeling sorry for the central characters as they do so many stupid things to put themselves in their predicament and make it worse lol! Worth watch, but don’t spend money to watch it like it did! Wait till you can stream it for free

If they’d taken Matt Hoopers boat, the shark could have rammed it all it wanted..and the only damage would have been to the sharks snout lol! They’d also all survived and been able to easily have enough power to drag it into the shallow waters and drown it! But that would have been a rubbish movie lol!
