I have 3 of these. The Natural, a Navy and a Taupe. Honestly, other than the sheer beauty, quality and the timelessness of this bag. My favorite thing about this bag is the smell and the sound of the leather when you're handling it. It sounds like a high quality bag. Nothing against Louies, but they don't smell or sound like a Florentine!

I have used saddle soap/conditioner on my leather bags ( except Louis Vuitton) and shoes for years. I was told by a shoe salesman that it would prolong their life. Usually, I will do the purses once a year or every two years. The shoes are usually done at the start of fall and end of winter. Your purse contents remind me of my purse prior to Covid. Now it’s just the minimal amount. I would love to see your permanent purse collection. Purses bring us joy.

Hi Dawn, I am in love with this bag. Everything about it is gorgeous! It checks all the boxes. Good to know about the weight of their leather goods. Definitely shows quality but can also be straining on a lady with a bad back or shoulder. Dawn just got my bag and love it! It's so much lighter than my Brenna and I packed a larger umbrella, phone, 10" tablet, phone and other things and it's still lighter. I just learned how to convert the strap to a handbag and it's perfect!

I am happy to find your channel from one middle age woman to another. I love your views as you shared your items in your bag. I also practice taking out all my items from my bag so that I can rotate my small collection of handbags. My style changed that I own very small variety of coin purse, wallet/card holder and they are divided by essential and needs.

I ran across one of your videos on how to clean a Dooney Bourke bag, when I saw the Florentine bag I just had to have one, follow your adviced and found one on Poshmark it looks brand new, I don't think they ever used it. the shoulder strap still has the plastic around it. Yes, Dawn, writing things out longhand cements it in our subconscious; even better if it's in cursive! I'm guessing the earrings are the culprit because they'd hit the side of your face/cheek as you bend over, so just doublecheck what metal they are. Lovely bag! Blessings! Jackie in upstate NY

I very luckily found the same bag in large that is a beautiful burgandy leather with certificate and dust bag for $75 because the buyer had back problems and said it was just too heavy for her. I definitely have to purchase the bag oil. I have a beautiful leather backpack I purchased in Italy and I noticed the bag has a very dark spot on the outer flap from being packed away.
