I could live in this home and be the happiest, coziest grandma around. There is not one thing I don't love. I think it has such an intimate , warm feel to every room. All your sweet treasures and heirlooms just add even more charm. Its like a warm hug!!!!!!

I admire everything you do with your lovely home and gardens. And you are right about how cliche pumpkins for fall decor have become. I don't have magnolia leaves but I do have oak tree branches. And acorns galore. They look lovely mixed with hydrangeas. And have I told you how much I love your library? I gave mine up in 2013 and I only miss it when I see yours, lol. I do switch out my pictures on the wall for fall because they are family portraits of long passed ancestors, but mainly I just move them from room to room. This time of year spiders move in. I don't use fake webbing, I just let the spiders do their thing and leave it, ha! Anyway, thank you for another inspiring tour. Cheers dear lady.

I love to decorate so I would redecorate the entire house with the latest trends then have to replace everything when the next big trend began. I wish I had been confident in a love for a particular style / era which I am finding is truly country and / or vintage and antique items . Your home is gorgeous! I love your style. Thanks so much for the warm welcome! I do also enjoy bringing nature into our home during the fall and winter as do you! :) I appreciate your honesty about pets and "real life" living in our home! We have 5 housecats and 2 huskies that also come inside during the heat of the summer months. We have real life FUR everywhere! Ha ha!

So cozy and homey! My grandmother grew silver dollar plant (lunaria) in her yard just so she could have the dried ones around the house. And I happened to be driving and ran across a giant "hedge" of queen annes lace and pulled over to cut an armload to put in a pitcher on my mantle. A raucous arrangement but I loved it!

Love all the vignettes, it's funny to me that I do the Black man version of what you do. lol By that I mean instead of dried flowers, there are papier-mâché lion, zebra and elephant statues in random places around my house, because it has a jungle theme.

Your home is so warm and inviting. I would, however, rethink the Halloween decorations of the cobweb stuff from Target that you may hang on the bushes. It entraps small birds, butterflies, and other little creatures, even spiders! 😢

I just love your house and your lovely, cozy, very personalized decor! I hate to be one of those people who makes negative comments to someone who is kind enough to share their home with us! But....here goes....I think I asked once before....do the two extra dining table chairs have to be there on either side of the bench? It would open the space visually if they were stored elsewhere. I guess it is impossible to put them anywhere else, but I'm just mentioning it in case it is a "blind spot" --- you know how we don't always "see" things in our homes that we look at all the time. Again, love your house!
