Oh how I miss Alaska! The last time we drove to Denali was Spring of 2014! It was glorious… and like you, we had a perfect day to view the great mountain! My husband actually flew out of Talkeetna and landed on a glacier after circling the top of Denali for those fabulous views! What an experience!! Enjoy all of the great state of Alaska… it is truly magical! ❤❤❤

So enjoyed traveling with you and your hubby on your visit to the north pole and all the beautiful scenery along the way. I lived in Alaska when I was a child as my father was in the Air force there. Alaska captured me and I have gone back twice a year for visits for many years. Have to get my God Country feel back. Alaska continues to call me back. I have been contemplating moving back again for the last chapter of my life. Only time will tell if I do but, regardless it will always continue to be in me. Peace.

Beautiful scenery!! Its always fun to take time for yourself!! I live Minnesota but went to visit extended family in north pole Alaska in 1989.. brings back a lot of memories. I remember the santa house and denali park. I also remember a pole in the center of town.. Everything had a Christmas element .. street names.. the light poles.. Thank you. Wish we could afford another trip soon.

A very beautiful Alaska

The scenery was breathtaking, the river was pretty fast moving. Hubby and I love road trips, we discovered our forever place while on vacation one summer. We were blessed to retire early and have been enjoying it ever since. It's in the Pacific north west and we are cooler, greener and yes wetter and don't even mind it at all❣

Really appreciate the beauty....but, here in Louisiana it so hot!! Glad y'all had a nice time. Thanks for letting us come along

Hi Jessica and Aaron from Northern Minnesota! This video was fabulous and so informative!! I just found your channel last week, so I have been binge watching videos when I take a break from doing all of my “getting ready for winter” here. I am picking apples tomorrow morning from my 5 trees and canning applesauce and preparing apple pies and crisps for the freezer. I will vacuum seal apple slices and freeze to pull out this winter for other recipes. Need a good recipe for apple butter. I have 5 children but only one left at home, she’s 17. I miss all of the family meals every night and Sunday dinners, so badly‼️I love cooking and baking but I am really struggling on what to cook just myself during the week. I need to buy freezer containers and freeze individual meals, ones that still taste good after being frozen and reheating. We visited Alaska a few years ago for 10 days and would love to come back, hopefully this next summer with a few of my kids! They say, a lot of people visit Alaska once and the 2nd time they go is to move there! MN is colder than some areas of AK, but they think I couldn’t handle the darkness in winter🙈We went to Mt McKinley, it was a beautiful sunshine(y) day so we did see the peak, also flew around the peak on a little plane. Got some amazing pics, worth every single penny. Thank you for all of the time that you spend filming and editing your videos, one of the best, most uplifting channels I watch!!! Makes my heart smile every time I watch one and such great info on preparing meals, canning, preserving, shopping and etc!!! Can’t wait to watch every single one🥰Have a blessed rest of the week! NE Minnesota here and our leaves are already turning. Been slowly turning since the beginning of August. A neighbor guy's maple tree doesn't have any more leaves. My maple tree is just starting. My favorite time of year with the Beautiful colors but it goes too quick for me. Yesterday it was 80 here and today it's 54 plus wind. Big change. It definitely feels like fall here.

Have you ever heard of Santa Clause, IN? We have Rudolph this and Santa that! So fun… but the most fun is Holiday World Theme Park! I’ve always wanted to go to North Pole, AK!

I suggest if you go to Fairbanks go to chena hot springs. I grew up on chena rd when you could still hunt that road. it’s my favorite place in Alaska. Also the hot springs the green houses,restaurant ect. Are completely self sustainable.

The river in your video at Denali is a glacial river, you can tell by the murky color (lots of sediment)
