Fall of Cybertron is such an underrated gem

Optimus Prime’s cybertronian truck form was designed to look like a fist according to one of the developers. If you think about it you’re basically running over deceptigoons while also simultaneously punching them. This is funny to me

I was so happy when I found this game. I really enjoyed it and it made me say things out loud in Optimus Prime’s voice when I played him.

Not only was _Fall of Cybertron's_ campaign peak Transformers, Y'ALL GOTTA UNDERSTAND THIS MULTIPLAYER WAS FIRE!!! The shutdown of its servers was a downright tragedy 😭😭

Transformers is a franchise that is consistently way more badass then it has any right to be. Like that intro gave me actual chills, wtf.

This game is everything I wanted from the movies. Main and only focus on the autobots and decepticons, no human characters.

playing these cybertron series felt like playing old Call of Duty. Great story , in the middle of crazy war, and everything explodes. man that was epic.

Fun fact: They had another cgi intro that was for the demo that takes place after Humbling River and it's just as epic.

The multiplayer for these games was buggy, but so much fun. If you could force your friends to play it, you'd have a blast!

The game was so good such a dark and gritty take on the war of cybertron. It made me feel like I was fighting a losing war as a kid

I begged for this game that Christmas when it came out, I played it nonstop for nearly 2 years, i had almost every achievement completed, you can feel the time and love that was poured into the game. It's my favorite game of all time

WFC and FoC, in my opinion, have the greatest renditions of Megatron in any transformers universe. His voice actor, his role in the games, his lines, everything about him was 10/10 and it made the games incredible.

For anyone that didn't know this fact you can actually use the gun on swindle's vehicle mode if you press the same button used for weapon switching ( it can also shoot automatically if close to a enemy while also having infinite ammo )

The multiplayer in Fall of Cybertron is one of my favorite experiences ever. The final mission of the campaign where you are quickly shifting between transformers all with different types of movement is still phenomenal

Fall of Cybertron was and still is my childhood game. I played it so much that the soundtrack is permanently stuck in my head. I really hope that one day both wfc and foc get a remaster

THANK YOU! I can not say how many playthroughs I've done on Fall of Cybertron. From finding blueprints to searching for the hidden audio logs, this game is my Xbox 360 childhood masterpiece! I'm so glad to see that I'm not the only transformer video-game lover, and I'm also glad that it still gets this much attention on the internet a decade later! Forget Fortnite, this is the best Third-Person shooter series!

This was the first Shooter game I was allowed to play. I found it incredible. Im not a huge Transformers fan, i just thought it was incredibly immersive.

When I was younger War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron was MW2 and MW3 which to say played it a lot is an understatement I loved both games to death and that damn trailer for Fall of Cybertron was incredible

This is the game that got me into video games when I was young. I maxed out all the classes in multi-player.

This was the first game where I put an incredible amount of time and effort into. I remember rushing home from school everyday just to play. I started out with the campaign and once I was done with it moved onto multiplayer and it was incredible. I loved that you could customize your own transformer and begged my parents to buy me the dinobot dlc

It’s seriously refreshing to see how much attention the Cybertron games are getting. Hoping they release them digitally again with improved visuals… Along with “Devastation”, these games are amongst the best that the Transformers Universe has to offer.

Fall of cybertron is criminally underrated

I grew up on this game ,I remember asking my dad for the 2007 transformers and dad brought this one instead I was angry about it , then an year later in 2013 i played and omg was this the best game i ever played. nothing truly represents transformer the way WFC and FOC games do (and TFP). i do an yearly playthrough of this game and im always reminded how great this game is.

Kev, just before the gladiator arena in the first Megatron mission you can smash the store and get to a secret area behind it where you can play a Claw Machine. There are far better easter eggs than a dancing bot.

Full playthrough when? trust me its worth ti, specially the Grimlock section. Id totally watch You play this game to its fullest. Its very Goooooood. It also ties in to the first generation Transformers Cartoon which i didnt see coming.

I was waiting for this!!! This game was one my favorites in my younger years and even now and I’m happy that you’ve covered both War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron!

I absolutely love FoC and WfC, but I feel like both had something the other doesn't. WfC's enemies felt like it had so much diversity in their attack patterns and behaviors, often breaking cover to close the distance to attack you, actually change form from Vehicle to Robot mode along with using a wider variety of weapons like the battle pistol, assault rifle, and explosives. And then there is the character selection on top of campaign coop, you are given an option of 3 characters to choose from at the beginning, each serving their own purpose of attack, support, and a mix of the two on top of having different vehicle forms. It would have been far more interesting if FoC took this concept to allow for more unknown characters to make it in the spotlight on top of adding more diverse gameplay. The only problem was that you will notice the AI is nowhere near as helpful as another living person would be playing with you. FoC however had the best controls and gameplay. The aiming felt much more fluid, your character didn't feel as clunky when you moved, and you had a dedicated dash in place of a rechargeable secondary ability. It may seem like a downgrade, but aside from Hover and Dodge, there really wasn't a useful secondary ability in WfC. You gain a rechargeable shield so you don't have to constantly scrounge for health after every firefight. In place of using grenades, you have a bunch of utility items that more than make up for the loss of the secondary ability, on top of a normal recharging primary ability. My only issue with this game is the weapon upgrades and perks. The weapons in WFC felt consistent with no way to upgrade them, you can just choose one and run it the whole map. In FoC, you are punished for not actively upgrading your gear, with the waves of enemies steadily growing more punishing and numerous. When you purchase an upgrade, it is permanent, with no way to remove the upgrades on the file you use to start fresh at the beginning. I love both games, but I feel like it was give-loss situation on both games. If Highmoon was able to bring a 3rd game to next gen systems, maybe we could have got a game that took the best of both games and combined them into something amazing

For love of PRIMUS, PLEASE do a Part 2!! This was already so good and this game did NOT get enough attention. I’d love a full play-through just to know YOU got to experience this whole beautiful game! They change stuff up constantly and it never gets dull my dude! Even the story is bananas all the way until the end. Don’t even get me STARTED ON THE CREDIT SEQUENCE! It’s not an overly long game (sadly) and they CONSTANTLY introduce crazy plot twists and tons of new characters and guns and gameplay gimmicks that are specific to the various levels like the giant space-battle level for example ect. It’s awesome!

This game was really good. Had some good memories too, especially with online battles and being able to make your own Transformer.

Honestly, I'm really impressed by the animations and environment detail in this game. This studio needs more credit for not just mailing it in like so many do for these movie or you tie in games.
