No, I can’t stop wearing the denim jackets- cropped, fitted, oversized, different washes 🙂. They are a staple for me, similar to my blazers and cardigans. Not so trendy but classic. Wear what you love ladies!

@andreap9756 Exactly, I have a Levi blue jean jacket old, and now it is worth $150. I am glad I did not sale it. I was holding on to it because it was my favorite jacket. When I tell you I am a vintage girl. The amount of money people be offering for my 60s 70s clothes, are shocking.😮😮

I said the same thing. I have both. A denim jacket always comes back whether we like it or not. And the leather look comes and goes just as much. Keep both and you'll always be en trend

She is right about Forest Green. It's a color that's been in for a while. Fashion is circular in that things just come back around. As someone who was born in the 70's, has never liked bell bottoms and continues to see them come back I can attest to that. And I'm not trying to yuck anybodys yum. If you like bell bottoms then rock them. I think you have to find pieces that you really like, that speak to you, find some good quality pieces and go from there.

Trust me, it’s the BEST. I’ve been thrifting blazers since 2011. Best thing ever! You can find the best thick quality ones. My favorite find is a Jones New York with gold buttons.

I like all types of denim jackets especially the baggy jackets. I think people should wear what they like not what is in. I will say now that I am older I do wear baggy denim jackets and leather jackets. I finally bought a pair of black mules. I am still not sold on them, but they do look nice. Forest green is beautiful. Yes to buying a pair of high quality jeans!

I absolutely LOVED this video! I love some staples. Now, I was a little sad when you said the denim jacket I have a oversized one but also, a structured one but, let me throw that out and replace. I usually opt to wear the structured one when I’m wearing a dress that’s not really work (school system) appropriate. But nevertheless, let me go look for a faux leather jacket 💕💕

Keep your structured denim jacket. The denim jacket has always been in style for DECADES. It just becomes a spotlight-focus star every couple of fashion cycles. However, it never goes away. Instead, you fashion a trendy item with it...a button-down tunic or a high-low top or a silky tencel-blend top with it. All of those items dress up that structured denim jacket. The structured denim jacket can be draped across the shoulder for a look...instead of wearing it normally. Wear a cool fedora (tilted to one side) to dress up the jacket look. Unsnap the cuff and roll up the sleeves to 3/4 length...or to the elbow. Let your top or tunic sleeve be longer than the jacket sleeve. This reinvents the jacket-look in your outfit. Wearing fancier jewelry like long-strand pearls and bangle or cuff bracelets... or wearing gemstone cocktail rings or earrings put a sophisticated chic...to your look of wearing the structured denim jacket. Also, what shoes you pair with that jacket-look...will determine if you are looking like a chic magazine editor, a trendy street style fashion-girl, or modern casual. If you do not try the ideas, just retired it to your storage area...for now. It WILL come back into fashion spotlight in 1 - 3 seasons...guaranteed.

Exactly, too many cookie cutters. I love creative and originality styles. I always been a thrift shopper since the 80s. People always asking me, where did you get that from? I say I thrift especially since they don't make fabric like they used to. Some of these clothes you wash and they become night clothes.
