I'm on a Falling In Reverse listening kick after hearing Last Resort Reimagined. I never realized how many Falling In Reverse songs I have on my playlist. I just now got around to liking all the music videos. The greatest thing about Ronnie Radke is he's fucking versatile. Linkin Park made rap rock popular, but Chester Bennington (R.I.P 💔) always had Mike Shinoda doing the rap parts. Ronnie does it all rapping, screamo, melodic ballads by himself. That's talent.🔥

Just found out about this song today, after stumbling on an old reddit post with people tearing it apart. Clicked the link expecting to be amused by a horrible song, but this is actually really good. Basically all my favorite genres combined. Well done, and I'm not sure why people were hating on this to begin with.

People most likely hate it because of how poorly it executes the idea of multiple genres in one song. Everything from the laughably wooden tough boy screaming, the shit-eating delivery, the goofy ahh lyrics (Man I’ve been in rap since I was shittin’ in pampers), and the pure narcissistic energy it radiates for 4 minutes and a half. It's also worth noting that Radke himself is a piece of shit. (google 'ronnie radke controversy' if you wanna see what he's done)

Reading these comments makes me feel old. The late 90s and early 00s was a big boom of mixing genres. Linkin Park's first record and original band name was Hybrid Theory, as a call out to them doing that exact thing. With all that being said, I do like seeing the new directions music and this genre can go. Have to keep things fresh.

This song has become a huge inspiration. Ever since I came back from deployment I’ve been in a real dark spot. It’s crazy but this song like helped me. I kinda came back to reality. Thinking I was always alone and just everything that has ever happened. I’m getting my entire torso tattooed. I got a chest piece. It’s been inspired from this song, coming home and losing my mind. Radke’s music has helped me more then any single person could ever.

I just saw an interview I've never seen before where Ronnie says this song started as a joke but the label believed it had a huge chorus so it made the album. Pretty funny it even got awardnominated after that considering it also got a lot of critique.

You can only know and like 3 songs by a band and still call yourself a fan. If you're really liking Ronnie's writing/music, you neeeeeed to check out the Dying Is Your Latest Fashion album from when Ronnie was lead singer of Escape The Fate before he formed FIR. Specifically the songs: My Apocalypse; When I Go Out, I Want To Go Out On A Chariot Of Fire; Cellar Door; and the pièce de résistance- and personally one of my absolute top favourite of his songs, ever- There's No Sympathy For The Dead. Also the songs Self Destruct Personality and Rolling Stone from the same album Alone is on (Fashionably Late) are fucking bangers. Popular Monster is still one I scream when I'm alone in the car because it feels like free therapy. And obviously the ENTIRETY of the Drug In Me Is You album. For too many reasons to even list. I've struggled with depression and suicide for a very long time and Ronnie is the only one who's ever taken the chaos inside me and verbalized it all in such a beautifully raw real way. His writing and music has saved me from hurting myself quite a few times. And he's fucking incredible in concert. If you humoured me this far, thanks 😊 and welcome to the fan base😊 You have so many fucking bops to play on repeat forever. And I'm jealous, because holy shit if I could go back and listen to some of these songs again for the first time....whew. I still get goosebumps.
