Ronnie wont copy a cover he reimagines it. This rips at your soul. I think more people can relate to this version. I have seen a lot of reactors that knew the song but never really listenrd to the lyrics. They never knew how deep and sad this song is. This is another Ronnie masterpiece. It nice to see Ronnie maure in his music. I love both versions. There is a video with Ronnie showing it to Jacobly for the first time. Ronnie was so nervous. You should check it out. Great Reaction as always! Much love❤

Everything you said is true and I think he should do a reaction to Ronnie having Jacoby listening to it for the first time, it’s like 5 minutes and 26 seconds, yes Ronnie is nervous but Jacoby was digging it, it’s worth the reaction for sure! Wish it was a bit longer!

Yeah I love it when reinterpretations focus on upbeat popular songs that actually have really sad lyrics and cover them in a way that highlights the emotions conveyed within the lyrics. Ronnie hit it out of the ballpark with this reinterpretation.

I love that Ronnie's version really highlights the true nature of the lyrics for Last Resort. So many people have never actually listened to the lyrics of this song and this version makes you have no choice but to listen and feel the depressing nature of it. Both versions are incredible in their own way. If you want to rock, Papa Roach. If you want to cry, Ronnie's.

I feel like the soft singing almost whispering just adds a different level to the song. Papa Roach made you feel like smashing walls in because of the anger..This cover is a different depth of almost begging and being completely lost and broken..deff a beautiful take on the song

@@user-me9in1yu6s Its a mirror image of each of the songs We all go through the anger and pain and then it turns into sadness and sorrow. The first version makes you scream and get angry, the second version makes you reflect on all the poor choices or things that are out of your control. Its what we all go through and it's the reason why both songs compliment eachother. It resonates with people because they basically in their own respective ways put life to paper. Essentially

What I really appreciate about it. Is how crazy different this song hits when it’s the same lyrics, the OG was that aggressive headbangers vibe… but thanks to Ronnie I actually felt the lyrics. I knew every word to the song but never picked up how dark/sad it is until re-presented in this manner. Gave me goosebumps hearing it the first few times.

Like Stevie scope out Alone etc that's the first track Ronnie started to do rap stuff into their music. His line up back then was the best and he's the only original member now but man Jacky Vincent was his best guitarist, that dude shreds! Derek was the last original member and passed after his wife passed of leukemia and he went not long after, RIP Derek!!!

Jacoby wrote this about a homie he grew up with and would chill with and his boy started to get depressed thinking of suicide etc and he didn't know how to really help or what to say to help him so he wrote this song. He felt like this himself like 14 years after this tune came out. Ronnie showed it to Jacoby to see how he dug it and he was so nervous for his approval lol but Jacoby fucking was so stoked about it and it was sick seeing them checking it out together. I think with his reimagined version, he wanted to focus on the symbolism of the lyrics, rather than drown then in music, it makes lots of people cry, i cried multiple times listening to this version, whereas the origional song, I just jammed out and rocked on, this one has so much passion and intensity which truly gives the song justice. Just my opinion on it ^.^

In the 1st Last resort by Papa roach it was all about the initial stages. The anger and rage you feel. That feeling just wanting to make you break stuff. In the 2nd version of Last resort by Valentine, Its not about rage. He sings about losing hope and dealing with sorrow. But the video also shows his world crumbling around him but he still stands on his feet around the carnage, until at last his life starts to rebuild itself before his eyes. Too many people are lost in that crumbling world not knowing that if you just stand tall it comes back, we always get to come back. might not be perfect but it will always get better. They basically put a moment everyone experiences onto paper. And i feel sorry for anyone who cant see it or appreciate it and was hoping for the same type of song as before. Stand tall in the carnage, you have the strength.

I assumed Stevie was reacting to the original just the other day in anticipation of the release of the reimagined version because who would randomly react to that twenty year old song the same week it was reimagined by the amazing Ronnie Radke? By the way, the song was composed and arranged for Ronnie by his boy that arranged the previous reimagined masterpieces, Sean Rooney (I believe that's his name, I'm going off the dome here - correct me if my brain failed me). Shout out to homie, Sean and Ronnie make a great composition team. As always, the video team made another flawless video that sets the bar for the industry and probably didn't sleep for a full week banging out and getting the video pixel perfect in every frame. These reimagined covers set the bar across the disciplines they contain. Not a single weakness in these releases in my opinion.

I get the idea that SOMEBODY didn`t have any real attachment to the original (or this version for that matter). It was masterfully presented by Ronnie. The composition was perfect for the depth of the lyrics. The dynamics were great (as are ALL FIR songs). Too many musicians don`t put enough effort into dynamics and the dynamics of human emotion. FIR is very good about that. Overall the song is new and it`s easier to find the message now. If it`s good enough for Jacoby, I`m satisfied with that.
