I love how he transformed the guitar solo from the original one to the piano in this one. To me the originals are Ronnie being young and dumb making light of his problems and possible not emotionally mature enough to even realize/admit he had a drug addiction. The reimagined ones show his growth and emotional maturity where now he can not only admit he has a problem but to start things in motion to deal with it.

You earned a new sub today, I appreciate your thoughts n the song Your expressions really did allow us to see real in moment emotions. As for the pausing , personally i enjoy the people that do pause and actually explain to us in real time what the emotion we are seeing is and why, lots of times they bring up memorys or such of there own and that allows us to see your emotion but allow us to see you more on a personel level. But the great thing is we all are on this journey of music together as one diffrences set aside.

It's your channel say and do what you want. I hate when I hear creators explaining themselves sucks the platform and the people make you feel like you need to do that. For me I can focus on the lyrics with the reimagined version whereas I focus on the music for the original version. I know I mentioned them in today's live chat but more from Rebel Son would be great as would some reactions to New Zealand artist Stan Walker (Amazing Grace, Bigger, I Am the Colour all coming to mind). He frequently teams with The Levites (and The Standard for background vocals). His cover of a Kayne West song Ultralight Beam is where most start. Don't let who created it stop you from covers.

To answer your question, "Can all songs be turned into a ballad?," I'm going to ask you a question: Can you picture Watch The World Burn as a ballad? I can't. I CAN however picture it down stripped down and more operatic (like Ronnie has done to part of it live) and I can picture that stripped down version in a movie or Broadway play. ❤
