He continues, "Bouncing between dimensions, as the video portrays, there are two of me that are polar opposites of each other: one trying to prove to the world he is good enough, and the other trying to stop him from it. He ultimately kills his 'reflection' - the mirrored entity negating his progress by inter-dimensional time travel- only to find that the other version of 'him' he kills comes back to life, regenerating the feelings again. It's my analogy of the cyclical battle we all face on a day to day basis. However, this underlying message can be translated in many different ways. It's all in the eyes and ears of the beholder." Drugs: To begin with, Falling in Reverse’s “Drugs” definitely has a hostile tone. And death - whether symbolic or literal - is one of its major themes. However, there is clearly an underlying, philosophical message behind the song. In other words, while the title of the track is “Drugs”, these substances in and of themselves are dealt with relatively-briefly. The track starts off with the statement “everybody’s on drugs”, which is also featured in the chorus. And it doesn’t seem Falling in Reverse is referring only to physical drugs. For instance, in the very-next line of the chorus, they seem to equate pursuit of “the American dream” with being hooked on these substances. At the beginning of the first verse, Ronnie Radke is faced with a proposition to kill himself. However, he states that he is “already dead, just differently”. Here, he is referring to some type of symbolic death. And within the overall context of the song, this would seem to be something tantamount to striving to live up to the expectations of others and indeed society in general. As such, in the second verse, he tells the listener to “save yourself” “because nobody else really has a clue”. This would seem to imply that the audience is on a similar road to self-destruction with the people around them being unaware that such is even transpiring, as in the society at large not perceiving anything wrong with treading such a path. He then makes to a reference to “pain” being injected into the “veins” of the listener “like heroin”, with such putting him in the position “just to feel again”, as in preparing him for another injection of pain. This may allude to the listener continual submitting himself to the aforementioned societal ideologies, even though the ultimate result is an undesirable one. Indeed in the chorus “the American dream” is seemingly classified as “a new disease” which is “murdering” the people who are caught up in it. Thus we have guest vocalist Corey Taylor beginning the breakdown of the song by stating “everybody is dead from the neck up”. This would imply that they are dead mentally, not physically. In other words, they are “complacent” in a “dying nation”, as in blindly following an ideology that will lead to death instead of critically analyzing the path their lives are on. Also his Mother was never there for him, because she wa busy with doing drugs... Thats why the Black eyes, (remember Loosing my Mind, the black Stuff). So... I hope this explains a bit more.

The scene with the girl in losing my mind represents Ronnie's past history with his addiction to drugs the girl is basically the spoon as she's dressed in silver and the black goo represents black tar heroin. Him ascending is a result of that high

i’ll stop commenting after this (lol), but i get so damn hyped up about this trilogy, its meaning and the videos enhancing it. i could go on and on about what each aspect of the music videos mean, but i won’t bore you to death, haha. just know that it’s all incredibly layered. i could write a full essay on this. every single thing has a purpose here. it’s truly mind-blowing. pure art. that’s why i’d love to see a “i’m not a vampire” reaction, too! it’s a literal masterpiece. i believe in even won a bunch of awards and stuff. Drugs is a metaphor to any addiction people have. Likes, subs, social media, money, fame, etc. My understanding is Dark-hair Ronnie (his old self) is killing Blonde-hair Ronnie (new self) because he has to accept, learn, and move on from his past. His past is part of who he is and what he's become. Can't run from it. The ending, to me, is you will always need to confront your demons. Some new. Some old. But they will always be there.

The time he is in the coma in the video represents the amount of prison time he was facing. That's why he wakes up and it's the future and his daughters older. Like life didn't stop while he was in jail and now he's home and expects things to be the way they were before he went to prison but everyone's moved on

The black stuff from losing my mind is the poison, that kills him (drugs etc) its all about a battle with his old self of addiction and bad choices, compared to his current self. Sober Ronnie living with all the haters from his past that keeps trying to bring him down.
