Yeah, it definitely has the same nu metal vibes, except it seems to be more influenced by industrial than hip-hop. Nonetheless, it's a great song and will be a permanent part of my spotify list.

It definitely is closer to intelligent and nuanced criticism of an overly indignant culture then people complaining about being held accountable for constantly using a platform to spew hateful rhetoric

If it's anti-left to be against cancel culture, misinformation, and propaganda.. then I'm not sure that's a bad thing to be? That isn't really relevant to me though. Whether he has his opinion of the left/right. It's that I'm not a big fan of overly political music.

Dude those choruses always slaps bro they are always ON THE SPOT. It's been long since I heard something from this band. I didn't realise until this listen how much this sounds like a Bring Me The Horizon song. The guitar riffs, the electronics and strings, the pitch-shifted "Zombified," the breakdown guitars, and the screams at 2:58 which are almost identical to Parasite Eve.

The verse guitar sounds a LOT like One Step Closer, and I'm pretty sure that was intentional as a homage to him getting sick of all the haters and being at the end of his rope here. Awesome song and video

Its a great song to start 2022! Its happy lifty song but the riff is heavy and makes me head bang! And i feel the same popular monster break down vibes too and falling in reverse with music videos is just always killing it with the songs they just kill it man!

There's a lot of references to the controversies in his career in this, namely with throwing the mic stand into the audience. That being said, the song's lyrics just so blatantly being about "cancel culture" feels pretty cheap.

in their defense we live in a Time where everybody wants to cancel everybody for their own thoughts and it has to stop it will destroy the country this is his way of putting it out there props to them time to wake up sheep

The right has been doing it far longer than the left, they're just mad their own tactics have been turned against them. Furthermore, Radtke usually writes really good lyrics and these don't feel up to par with the usual stuff. It seems more like he's defending himself from a personal attack like half of Taylor Swift's songs about her failed relationships.
