When you're married, time will come that Love dissipates, but friendship remains. That's what married is, it begins with one hello, and end in commitment to each other. I've been married for 18years, sometimes happy, sometimes mad, sometimes lucky, oftentimes lugi. But you've got to fight for it on a daily basis. And up to the both of you on how you want to rekindle it.

That’s why we cannot trust our hearts, as even the bible says, the heart is more deceitful than all things (Jeremiah 17:9). We cannot trust in our feelings alone because they can change like seasons. And the sole reason for the need of marriage to be God-centered. Because honestly, we cannot make it successful on our own. We are all doomed to fail and hate each other because of our differences. We truly need God for wisdom, strength, and guidance to protect our marriage. It is also important to understand that it is a sacred covenant rooted in commitments that promise to stand against every storm, not merely to emotionally feel and stay in love forever. I always listen to your podcast and I always learn a lot from #BehindRelationShipGoals. Thanks for always sharing your personal experiences! :)

Listening to this just after a break-up from an 8 year relationship (a few weeks ago) and it still hurts like hell, especially when one claims to have fallen out of love, started liking someone else and even question his love for you in the first place... and you're the only one who wants to hold on. Hoping for healing and peace soon. Thank you Megan and Mikael, I love your relationship maturity.

I hope you're okay. I just experienced a break-up after a 5 year relationship. it was also because he fell out of love, even after trying to rekindle it ( without me knowing). I wonder how are you after 3 months? This is really difficult.

We used to listen to your podcast, sharing opinions about your content. She broke up with me 4 months ago, without telling me the real truth behind the break up. She just told me she's not ready. Listening at Megan. Yes, falling out of love is possible in every relationship. But thinking about it and being in that state of feeling frightens you. DAMN that's true love. It's really up to the couple if they stay in love and look back to the reason why you love the person. Mekail is a very a lucky guy. Kakaingit. :(

I admire you for having the guts to discuss future possibilities, yes there are bumps along the way, but if you communicate it and do something about it, love will still prevails. Love do comes in many ways as we grow older, but as long as theres respect and understanding, it will prosper. Stay in love sweet couple and may GOD bless you more ❤

love is not a feeling. its an act of the will. u CHOOSE to love. its a decision. happily married for 17 yrs with all the ups and downs. and the secret ingredient to that is God- theres three of us in this marriage. we treat it as a covenant not only between partners but with God as well. its a promise for life. the "feeling" of love comes and goes. inspite of everything (ups and downs) we are happy.

For people to fall out of love is possibly when one has outgrown the other and like what you said people constantly change and grow and sadly other couple fail to grow in the same level together and tendency is, insecurities arises and the other slowly loses that spark or liking or even that attraction or interest or probably just got tired with each other as sometimes this imbalance could create friction and because they don't have that same level of thinking their arguments most likely don't benefit the relationship but harming it and without realising the relationship is going downhill and it's too late to do something and suddenly realises that it has reached the bottom

i totally agree with you. Thank you. Im married with an opposite personality and goal sa life but i've learn to humble myself and see life as simple and beautiful no need to rush or to be perfect. Marriage, it's always a give and take and sometimes we need to ask counseling to correct our hearts and expectations. HOLD YOUR HORSES and COMMUNICATE WELL.

People change, things change and as you go through life and take in these experiences - they affect you in ways you can’t really predict. “I control my life and decisions” yes to a certain extent. But experiences also change you and you can’t completely control and dictate the experiences you go through. - Mikael

Hi Bonez and Fofo! I really love your podcast. Actually, I just randomly stumbled upon #BehindRelationshipGoals on Spotify and got hooked without even knowing you were the celebrities Megan Young and Mikael Daez. It was after the 2nd episode, I think, before I realized that LOL. I guess that just shows how I genuinely love the content haha I have been binge-listening ever since the first episode. Anyways... I would like to suggest an episode where you would talk about physical intimacy in premarital relationships. This topic also kinda leans on sex-ed I guess since this would tackle issues regarding chastity, sex, multiple partners, slut-shaming, etc. Since we are living in a conservative country where sex is taboo especially when it comes to young couples, I think this would have great significance in today's times. There are also people who would make such a big deal regarding the past sexual relationships of their significant other. I think this is one of the issues that couples in the early stages have been facing. I know that this is quite a sensitive topic and I am aware of you keeping your podcast PG. I am suggesting that you don't have to be explicit about it and you may not talk about your personal experiences in order to give respect to your private lives. It would be nice just to have your stand or principle regarding the said topic since not many Filipino content creators are honest and bold enough, unlike you guys, to talk about issues like this in romantic relationships. Thank you and I hope this comment reaches out to you guys. XOXO

When you are married and suddenly you fall out of love with your partner, the thing you should do is to remain faithful to your partner and do your responsibilities as a husband or wife and be open to him/her sa lahat ng bagay esp. talk to him/her why na fall out of love ka bigla. Try to think why you marry that person? Is it because of love only? Try to think the pros and cons if you will jump to a conclusion na iwan mo siya dahil lang na fall out of love ka. Maraming mangyayari. For me, it’s a choice but the important thing to do is to remain as a husband or wife to her/him. Continue your relationship with your partner hindi dahil sa anak nyo kundi in the beginning, siya ang pinili mo na pakasalan. Siya ang gusto mong anakan o magkaroon ng anak na marami coz the main purpose kung bakit ang couple ay nag-asawa is to procreate offspring and help each other to get to heaven. Once you tied a knot, no one can separates you with your partner in the eyes of God. Dahil it’s a law of God. Iba na kasi ang kahulugan ng marriage sa makabagong henerasyon ngayon, they forget what’s the real essence and meaning of holy matrimony. We should think of the salvation of our souls first. 😉

Falling out of love yes its a gradual accomulations of lies.. Pain.. Mistakes.. And taking for granted the partner. In my case.. I was trying so hard to get into my partners mind.. And trying to talk. But I can't get what I wanted.. Until I just keep silent and 1 day.. I WAs just not feeling him. Like I don't talk.. And just smile. Then.. Eventually parted ways.

Hi . I need your help. :( Recently lang yung live in partner ko mag 8 years na kme. Sinabe niyang na fall out of love na siya saken.. na hndi na niya ako mahal. :( Na may nagugustuhan na syang iba. :( I asked him why? AMINADO AKONG MALI/KASALANAN KO BAKIT TO NANGYARE SA KNYA/SAMEN. I have to be honest. Cellphone niya as in lahat.. :( So sabe ko MAHAL KO SIYA AT BABAGUHIN KO LAHAT, ITATAMA KO LAHAT NG PAGKAKAMALI KO.. nag ask din ako mag hihiwalay naba tayo? He replied NO. HINDI KA AALIS DITO SA BAHAY, MAHALAGA KA SAKEN. :( Minsan snsabe niya MAHAL KITA DAHIL MAHALAGA KA SAKEN. Masakit pero kailangan kong gawin dahil may mali ako at MAHAL KO SIYA :( Ngayon inaayos padin niya at walang kasiguraduhan kailan.
