People can remember an off-color joke you make about a character people keep associating you with and that joke is now apparently an expression of your true character. Six years of apologies and writing and producing a film about sexual assault against women of color doesn't mean squat. Nope. You made a joke once, and that is who you are. But hey, that two-second joke affords someone you've never met the right to demonize you without anyone questioning the character of the speaker, so I say go for it! Good job, Johnny! You're definitely on the side of right here!
