I can't wait for this biopic to blow 'Elvis' out of the park! How can you compete with a random stranger playing Elvis to someone who is the direct descendant of Michael and sounds/looks/mannerism exactly like him? Nice try! And PS we did not forget you guys thought it was fitting to release 'Elvis' on June 24th the day before Michael's death anniversary. Don't think for a second we thought that was a coincidence. @@tarabrooks3760Amen! Well said Tara. Beautiful guy, both inside and out. He’s determined to last in this industry as a dramatic actor. Love watching his journey. Over time KindKing people will see him as more than a pretty face. About 3 years ago, Austin did a sit down with his acting coach, Howard Fine, where he answered actor Q&A’s as well as some of Mr Fine’s questions. Great conversation and I believe it was there I heard Austin say that he competed with Denzel to be earliest to the theatre. That was when Denzel was really impressed by him. I don’t know if Austin goes off instinct or if he’s had some really good advice over the years, but he sounds like a true professional. I hope he keeps that humble, teachable attitude.

While yes he deserves the Oscar now hear me out now here's my thinking this is his first lead role in a major film he'll have others where as Brandon fraser has worked his ass off for years and has only now been nominated so feel he should get it. I do feel dispite the amount of nominations on the best actor category it is a 2 horse race between these 2 incredible actors
@kindking8009
@kindking8009 Жыл бұрын
@@roxyhart3247 I'm sorry, but I can't agree. We have no idea what will happen with Austin from here on. Adrien Brody won at age 29 for The Pianist and hasn't done anything award-worthy since. I think that was 20 years ago. Awards should be based solely on merit, not because someone's been in the business for a long time and hasn't gotten one. With that said, both performances were incredible and it will be a close race. May the best man win.

Austin absolutely deserves to win the Oscar. Not only did he have the daunting task of portraying an icon, he had to embody his life at several different ages (from 19 to 42)-so it was like playing several characters; different voice, different weight, etc. PLUS he had to sing! PLUS he had to dance! And he made it all look natural, not like an “Elvis Impersonator.” An incredible feat for which he deserves ALL the honors!

I think Austin Butler is one of the greatest actors ❤❤. It was as if Elvis himself was guiding Austin Butler ❤. I also grew up watching Elvis because my mom was a super fan. So I watched the his movies & listened to his music. Great job Austin Butler, I can hardly wait to see what you do next🎉

Jimmy Fallon has never once made me laugh. But, I think he is one of the best interviewers I've ever seen. He actually lets people complete a thought before asking another question or trying to one up them with a joke.

Agree with you 100% about Jimmy Fallon. I think he's a great interviewer for the same reasons you mentioned. I've heard many people don't like him as an interviewer which I don't really don't know why. I think he's 1 of the better late night talk show interviewers.

After I went and watched the Elvis movie I told everyone that Austin would win a Golden Globe Award. He had big shoes to fill and he worked hard and did it.. Austin practiced so long to play Elvis that he still talks like Elvis did at times, especially when Elvis was young. I watched another video and Austin sounded so much like Elvis it was unreal. He is very talented. Congratulations Austin !

Ayyyy my boy. The first time I really heard about Austin Butler was on a Jimmy Fallon KZfaq vid about him taking the role of Elvis Presley. I’ve been an Elvis fan ever since I was young so I was very skeptical but as soon as I watched the vid I realized how much he put into this role. Proud of you buddy❤️

You can see the spark in his eyes when he talks about his experiences around this Elvis movie. Right now he's riding the highest wave of his life which must feel incredibly ecstatic... I genuinely hope Austin will be okay once the hype over this film calms down a little and not fall into a dark pit like some do. Rami managed to stay sane too. I hope they can stay connected over this. Good luck to him winning the Oscar!

I remember seeing Austin Butler in "Aliens in the Attic" (he was just 19 at the time and, even then, there was something special about him). And now this very blondie fella from that cheesy movie is receiving this beautiful recognition as a truly talented and promising actor for portraying Elvis Presley, one of the greatest musical icons of all time and the "King of Rock and Roll" himself. My boy Austin is definitely having the time of his life! Just hope that these exceptional performances he's given in recent years (including the roles in "The Iceman Cometh" and "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood") is just the tip of an iceberg of his huge talent that will show up in even more brightest, early unseen ways!

He is such a breath of fresh air, no wonder he played Elvis so well, he has the demeanour, 9:38 southern charm,politeness. To me the fact that he is still down to earth guy with his ego left at home. Hopefully he becomes a super star. Let me correct that he is a SUPER STAR !!!

It breaks my heart that Austin didn't win more then he did. I am so happy that he won when Lisa Marie was there to celebrate him and the movie of her father. I also feel this movie really took its toll on her heart. She said after she seen it the first time it took her 5 days to take it all in. She also said after the movie and everyone left, she fell to her knees and cried, she actually needed help to her car. So very very heart breaking that she dealt with everything by herself.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I was so lucky to be one of those extras who got to watch every performance. It was like a full concert. I was a fan of Elvis as a child, but we even had extras who were well into their 70’s and had actually seen or remember the shows we were replicating. I wish the viewing audience could have experienced what we got to see as the crowd. It was the most fun. And Austin was so kind to every one of us that he spoke to or interacted with.
