Didn't see that thing in the corner, did you? I don't think it should be there...
Here I list "5 Hidden Details That Make No Sense" in Fallout 4. A lot of these weird things include tiny details you maybe didn't notice in your first playthrough, while others are a little more obvious to a careful eye. For many, including myself, they will be things you missed the first time.
I love digging deeper into Fallout 4 secrets. They usually lead to secret or weird encounters, or maybe even fan theories that are crazy. Have a theory of your own? I don't know why I'm asking. But Top 5 Hardest Decisions is another vid I did that you should check out because idk, entertainment.

He said other "good" companions like Curie and Preston don't give a fuck either though, I'm guessing it's because the people at that location (I forgot the name because I'm tired, sorry) are in the Children of Atom faction (or whatever it's called) and technically enemies even if they aren't hostile or... something like that, but I'm literally saying this from my very limited experience with similar situations in the past and I did not research this at all beforehand so I may be and probably am entirely incorrect

in the fallout series, a person is only an enemy if they attack you on sight or you personally choose to think what they are doing is wrong and want to kill them for it after finding out. The glowing sea children of atom are generally peaceful people who just want to be left alone. They are not your enemies unless you attack them.

@@snipa298 + I have yet to get a companion that makes derogatory remarks to the children of atom in the crater, but they have no problem insulting the sword if atom at the light house when they are being attacked. In fact a large portion of derogatory comments toward so-called enemy factions as I've seen, is usually done so in battle, not so much in idle chit-chat. Unless it's about the institute. So it seems to me, that it's likely a bit of both most probably. But mostly in response to hostility first and foremost. But that might just be my gameplay.

It's a fanmade dlc mod which brings a completely different land to explore, added to it is a weird dialogue mod called "fake choices", most people hate it, but some like it, furthermore, you need the mod "unimmersive monsters" which bring all those odd enemies. The most important mod, however, is the mod that changes the crossbow to this plasma gun, it's taken off the nexus, but you can find it somewhere online. There are some other mods, too, but they're not important.

They have genitals. They just can't reproduce because their FEV gives their sperm and egg cells 46 "completed" chromsomes instead of 23 like normal humans, so their eggs and sperm can't bond with each other, making them infertile.

@@funtits3399 that's a vault 87 mutant not a Mariposa mutant my friend. Mariposa mutants do have genitals this is from fallout 1 and 2. Now the institute mutants are technically a 3rd kind but they're similar enough to fallout 1 that we can assume they are the same

I only recently noticed that nearly all male and female NPCs seem to use Nate and Nora as a base model but with different details like scars and haircuts. Seems the whole SS being a Synth myth may not be a myth...😗

Vulcanitu Yeah I don’t know why Bethesda did that. Although I only ever did The Brotherhood path as my play through and that was back when the game released. I started several other play throughs over the years going down different paths, but I didn’t have the desire to beat it again as a different faction. I agree with you Vulcanitu, Bethesda put too much emphasis on the settlement building mechanic instead of let’s say the only 4 dialogue options.

When I play, I go inside the museum, grab the bobblehead, kill the deathclaw, then casually walk away never to return. Why? Cause Preston is inside the museum waiting for me and I don't wanna hear the phrase "Another settlement needs our help" ever again. I get enough strange settlement quests without him.. literally had a settler in starlight asking me to go wipe out some problem ghouls "just around the corner" that were actually in the Jamaica Plains

That's correct, all Children of Atom are flag as a hostile. I ran into this issue that he talked about. And later discovered all Children of Atom are listed as hostiles. The reason these are friendly, the main-quest requires it and so they are scripted to be that way. The reason he can bring Ghouls into Diamond City, they are followers. Also, Nick is a Synth, but made people believe he was a ghoul. Hancock is a bad example as he is the brother of the Mayor, well the original person who was replaced by a Synth. Any others you bring in though are considered Followers and as such they are fine, even the Mutant Strong :D That one made me think...what?????? Normally, you may take a follower anywhere and be fine...there is at least one majour exception, never take Danse as a follower to BOS after he is discovered as a Synth...They shall attack.

This video was obvious clickbait. Shame, I never heard of this KZfaqr, this was in my recommended vids so I thought I'd give him a chance. Guess I'll add him to my "Not Interested" list.

Here's a big one: In the quest The Molecular Level you have to build the parts of a machine to get into The Institute and you HAVE to build these parts it's not optional. What is though is a circuit board, sensor module and biometric scanner. The nonsensical part is those parts are REQUIRED to build the parts you need but it says OPTIONAL

You just got one tiny little thing wrong: Hundreds of interconnected responses to different solutions in quests were in the Obsidian game, not the Bethesda one. Bethesda cuts more and more corners with each iteration. 76 is going to be a perfect circle.

Fallout 4s decisions ultimately effect nothing. Its basically funnels you into the Railroad

Not really. You can do things with the Institute if you side with them. You can do things with either the Railroad or Brotherhood. There is even a way to do things with the Minutemen without destroying the Railroad or Brotherhood. Minutemen is supposed to be the last resort of you piss off everyone else but it can also be the "best" ending where only the institute is destroyed.

I admit it's a bit silly that the Railroad is willing to destroy the only way synths can be made but the Brotherhood is also a bit too extreme in their thinking. If the game was a lot more deep and gave us more options I would love to tell Elder Maxson that destroying the railroad is useless since destroying the institute will pretty much make their job useless and they will vanish on their own. The synths themselves are not any more dangerous than freaking Liberty Prime. Synths without the institute to control them are almost harmless. the Minutemen ending is the "best" because Liberty Prime is never completed and the Brotherhood doesn't ask you to destroy the Railroad. Everyone just seems to coexist.

unfortunately that was cut content. A mod by the name of "Face Maxson" uses cut dialogue to allow you to challenge Elder Maxson during the Blind Betrayal quest, either allowing you to become Elder of the Brotherhood peacefully (3-4? Hard speech checks), forcefully, or allowing Danse to become Elder (Easy? speech check). When receiving the quest Tactical Thinking, you can tell Lancer Captain Kells (Easy speech check, and have to be Elder) that they are allies, allowing you to spare the Railroad.

If you met Valentine's secretary first before going to Memory Den, you'll noticed one of the lady will said "not this again" during the quest Dangerous Mind. What she referred is if you go to Memory Den first before meet Ellie, you'll unlocked one mini quest there, replaying the scene where Kellog kidnapped Shaun and kill Nora, the lady horrified of that scene.Not sure who said it, the doctor or the beutiful lady I forgot her name.

For #3, what happened to me when I skipped saving Preston is that the quest in which I talk in front of the class doesn't activate until I go save the Minutemen.

I got around the Covenant glitch/error/whatever it is by scrapping the items, which allows the components to be put in the workshop, and thus not stolen

Also with Covenant you still need keys to access the houses, but can't give keys to your settlers. And if your companion uses their key to get in, it's considered trespassing and they turn hostile. At least that's what i found with Cait (she may have been lockpicking, I can't remember)

Another thing is that if you do the minutemen ending and visit the railroad hq they refer to glory as dead like you did the railroad ending but she’s walking around still

Similar to the Children of Atom thing, I've found that early in the game Codsworth dislikes it if I talk to Wolfgang (the chem pusher outside of the Drumlin Diner) and then decide to kill him, but if I snipe him from a distance while he's still yelling at Trudy Codsworth doesn't care at all...

When hes describing fallout 4 at the beginning, i cant help but think.... “Hey, he played the original two fallouts!” Then realising he actual thinks this.... “Oh.... hes just...... an idiot....” then realising that i forgot about sarcasm being a thing.

The whole picking things up is it depends on the potential enemies they allow you to pick up only one thing and they freak, where as if it's a place you own it allows you to steal 2 items and the 3rd strike you aren't so lucky.
