You've definitely cornered the market! Thanks for these videos. I've taken a lot of your recommendations. A better flashlight mod tho (more immersion) would be the one called 'pip-boy light overhaul'. Makes the effect of the flash light come from your pip boys screen brightness turned all the way up and it CASTS SHADOWS. It works really well in my game, maybe cuz it's ps5. 100 mods. Another one that seems to work pretty well on PS5 is 'wasteland illumination shadow ed.' adds lights to a lot of street lamps in the commonwealth / far harbor and they also cast shadows. So far so good. though, to each their own on immersion here as I don't know if there would realistically be electricity to power street lights. Combine these with 'sunlight alignment tweak' for better sunrises and golden hours.

@@martinwitt9565 not for PlayStation, no. PlayStation can only have mods that uses assets included in the game, so upscaled textures, new models, new music even, is all impossible.

For me the UFO4 Patch anr Simple Camping 2.0 refused to install due to "missing files". Maybe they have been updated since I tried. Overall I'm very happy that most of the mods on PS5 are still usable

@RichyJFilms are you actually playing the PS5 version tho, I had the PS4 version of fo4 downloaded and I didn't realize it, then I deleted it and downloaded the actual next gen version which you have to hit select version then PS5 when on the store. After I downloaded the PS5 version and got my dlcs downloaded a bunch of the mods quit working and popped up with that message

@@matthewgould8660 yeah, for me to play it I had to redownload all the dlc for the PS5 version, personally I didn't find it worth it compared to the standard PS4 edition so I switched back because most of the mods I care about actually work there

And dont forget LSD short for Long Strange Days, which makes chem use much more enjoyable, alters timescales etc. It must be placed at the bottom of your loadorder, right above vanilla pib boy flashlight. And the flashlight mod, well it turns your good ol pib poy light into a realistic flashlight 🙂👍

Hi,i have the ps5 version and only far harbour dlc..it seems that every mod that i install and enable,even if its for example about 1st person animation tweaks... When i go to diamond city the textures brakes and i'm seeing weird black textures...how do i fix this? should i have to buy nuka world or any other dlcs?

im running 140+ mods atm .moving one can have unforseen consequences .sometimes game altering . but mostly game breaking . at this point,i want to see come crazy things i want my game to be unlike anybodys game . i want to carefully craft a playthrough with mods .altering how the world looks and feels and acts . settlement mods are a pain. they dont interact well with each other . ive learned to avoid them like a plague . they are also wrote in their actions .ie its scripted .mot unique . it might be unique the first time you see it .but everybody else will have that same thing . that is what i dont want.

Man I couldn't agree more, it definitely can be done on ps5 with a lot of trail and error, testing if similar mods overwrite or not, if mods cause bugs because of next gen update, or if you hate it all together. Honestly I think the less the better. I could have a pretty good mod playthrough with about 10-15 mods and it feels like a new game.. kinda.. least it doesn't crash on start up

Ya asked for immersion mods. Falloute 4: Wasteland Survival must be the one you are looking for. It changes almost everything, adds bandages so stimpaks are a rare item and so on. It adds new enemys to old locations (more varity right from the start, no more radroaches everywhere!) There are many overhauls out there like B.R.O. or Immersive Gameplay 5 which i ran on my ps4. There also is Lunar, which is besides wasteland redux one of the bigger ones. Yet i dont like them very much. I'm a hardcore survivalist. And Immersive Fallout + Wasteland Survival makes the game as realistic as the engine can make in my opinion. 🙂👍

@lil-wolfgaming2957 low, as low as possible. I have it above water redux and interior lighting overhaul, pib boy flash light. All the overhauls should be placed as low as possible. And I must correct myself, immersive gameplay is still my favourite. The next gen patch ruined Wastlands survival.

@lil-wolfgaming2957 I'm working on a survival loadorder since the update. When I'm finished play testing (which should be one or two weeks from now) I will send you my top 20 game changing mods per mail, cause i dont want to recommed mods that would cause problems🙂👍

I don't know if i missed it on this video. But i swear i saw a video where you mentioned a mod that links all the workbenches. If anyone can help with naming that mod that'd be great. Sucks going into a new settlement and not having enough supplies to build when i know i have it all at another settlement's workbench.

I might be mistaken… but you need no mods to link your workshops. You just need to connect your settlements with caravans, and since you’ve done, it will connect both workshops, and you can repeat it until you connect every settlement.

I'm a bit confused after reading the mod description of Immersive Fallout does it effect weapon damage so the enemies aren't bullet sponges or is the mod just an overall masochistic difficulty increase with the player being severely nerfed with the slower movement speeds and the crazy recoil, turning the power armor into basically just modern day body armor with the creator's twisted logic while making the wasteland dragons into sonic and the supermuties into the Hulk?

Idk if it just doesn’t work on PS5 but I can’t even use the cheat terminal. When I add something it just resets back to the menu in the terminal

For a lot of you saying that fallout unoficial patch ain't working for you, it wasn't working for me either. I deleted and reinstalled fallout, and it is now working for me, so maybe try that and see if it works. i got a bunch of mods working for me that weren't before.

Just a heads up, it'll still exit the game when you get out of the modlist and youll prolly think its not working but load the game again and see if you can go into the game without crashing cause my game does crash when I exit the modlist but when I go in game all mods are working and the game doesn't crash. Nor do I get the "missing files" to make a mod work message

@choochootrain2145 kins of like when I first got the update, I would get the files missing to make this mod work thing. The unofficial patch was one of those for me after much failing to make it work after uninstalling the mod and reinstalling it and moving it around it would still crash my game while playing I got mad and eventually deleted the game then reinstalled it at first I started playing without the mods I couldn't use which was the unofficial patch my mod list was very bare bones Then, I started slowly adding more mods. I noticed that it still crashed me out of the mod menu, but I loaded my game, and it worked just fine, but I had to mess with the load order figuring out, which mods just crashed me ou5 of the game and which just crashed the mod menu I don't think I've completely fixed it if not it wouldn't crash the mod menu but it makes my game playable with the mods I want for the time.

@@JoseGonzalez-oe2yy oh ok I must be really lucky then because I've just spent the last couple hours installing about 25 mods or so, exploration, crafting expansion , weather and graphics etc + the unofficial patch and everything runs fine. The only issue I have is that every single time I reorder my mods i crash but otherwise when I'm playing no crashes. On PS5 version too

In my opinion, true invulnerability is the best mod because you stop getting radiation, take damage, and die from explosives

Main screen on PS5 for Fallout 4 go to mod menu. Mine crashed a few times too make sure you're not streaming the game. From what I hear though, all these mods will make your game crash repeatedly so I'm just playing with no mods. My Skyrim is modded no problem but modded Fallout keeps crashing for me.

USO comes with a "make static" tool in case you don't want OCDecorator.

OCDecorater makes it so you can place items from your inventory though. Does USO do that?

@@twopiecehoxton well, you drop the item from your inventory, then you can make it static and move it around in workshop mode. The only reason I suggest the make static tool over ocdecorator is that ocdecorator adds a lot of items to the build menu and conflicts with certain mods like Smore.

Hmm I have some mods but idk what load order i should use. If i save the mods i get a crash When i try to use 2 perk points i get a freeze 😢

Best I can recommend is just enable a couple of them and see how it works. If it seems OK add a couple more and just keep going. It's probably a conflict between mods. Might be a bad mod too. Some are very out of date. Hope you get it to work.

I guess it depends if you're gonna do much settlement stuff - I just finished my mod order and gonna do a survival play through and use modded player homes mainly so probably wouldn't use it in this case

I have 24 mods on and uco is at the bottom of my list. It’s a clothing framework overhaul which means it should be closer to the bottom of the load order. The only thing should be lower is scrapping mods.

With the new ps5 update today my game freezes all the time. Figured out its caused by the sts mod... game worked fine before the update. Now im not able to fix it.... 😢

You can add mods into an existing save, but if you have no dlc you need to check the mods don't require you to have them, otherwise your game will crash

A couple i have for thr added exploration, not sure if theure on playstation i have an Xbox: Caves of the commonwealth Atomic world 2.0 N.E.S.T Subway runner Commonwealth underground and forgotten spaces PAC AIO - good with the Rsiyo one An Animation one i like for FP is running with hands animations. And a fun lock picking one is locky lukes you. Can shoot or blow off locks

If you have doc installed you need to have that dlc version! Otherwise it won't affect dlc creatures I think

Be really careful with immersive fallout, I was getting one shotted by run of the mill enemies. Not for new players should be disclaimer

@@rafigiovanni2751try this take a photo of your mod list then uninstall the game go to settings and storage on your ps5 and delete the fallout 4 save data then reinstall and re enable your mods and then set performance mode in settings, sometimes there can be corrupt data traces left when enabling mods this worked for me before it’s worth a try.

nope i tried and it worked for a bit but when i travelled away from sanctuary and back houses disspared and things floating in mid air why do u think bethesda is working on a patch for the fun of it

If I remember right, there weren’t any you could have a companion and Dogmeat at the same time on PS4, so it’s probably the same now. I believe it has something to do with requiring Code that isn’t in the game files, so PlayStation doesn’t allow it.

Maybe it's your load order it's never happened to me. I love the mod. it gives it more realism when walking with a gun in first person

@AnnacamillaCuddumanu never happened to me. I mean, if I move, I suppose, but that's cause you're moving, and you're not aiming while moving, so that makes sense but if you hold the aiming button and you're backing up it should stay in aiming animation

@AnnacamillaCuddumanu you can hip fire hell slightly lift the gun up to shoot if you press the shooting button but not the aiming button, but nah, I get it man it's just a preference thing for me personally I like the mod
