In order for mods to work you MUST enable ArchiveInvalidation.
(This is needed for ANY mod that adds more than an .esp or .esm file.)
1. Open your Fallout 4 folder in Documents\My Games\Fallout 4
Note for Mod Organizer 2 users: Your INI is managed by MO2, so you need to edit it in MO2 by clicking the puzzle icon and selecting "INI Editor".
2. Open Fallout4Custom.ini
3. Search for a section labelled [Archive]. If it doesn't exist, add it.
4. Under the [Archive] section add or change the following two lines:
[Archive]
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal=
If sResourceDataDirsFinal= already exists and has anything else after the equals sign (=), remove everything after the equal sign so it reads like above.
5. Open Fallout4Prefs.ini
6. Find the section [Launcher] and if it doesn't have the following entry, add it on the line right below
[Launcher]
bEnableFileSelection=1
7. Save and close.
