Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen!
This video is a walk through guide, in which I show you how to acquire " Kiloton Radium Rifle ", a unique radium rifle! Now remember everyone's favourite weapon Spray n' Prey?.. Well this gun is the better, mutated, FAHHH HAAABAAAHH version of that gun!

+John Lennon's Ghost I thought wherever the shells ejected determined whether it was left handed or right handed, so by what I thought only the lever action rifle and hunting rifle would be left handed, as in the shells come out the left side, but I guess I was incorrect.

i use a wounding radium rifle.. make em bleed for 25 per shot and on full auto with rads.. it's a nasty piece of prewar ordnance

That sounds painful... 25 points Bleed after 10 Bullets that would stack the bleed effect (if all bullets hit their mark) would do 250 Damage. DAMN.

@@vampireguy2495 psss imagine an auto pipe rifle with the wounding effect, put on the rapid receiver quick eject drum mag glow sights and voila you have the best gun for cheap to use against any enemy, all you will ever need also explosive/wounding combat shotgun outdoes it

If you quick save before fighting a legendary enemy the weapon effect changes. Sometimes the weapon it's self changes too but, not as often. I got a junkie level action rifle and re loaded the save. Since junkie weapons are lame. Afterwards the same rifle re-spawned but, it had a the two shot effect.

I also like the firing sound of the radium rifles. In case people didn't notice, it makes both a gunfire sound and the blast noise of a laser rifle: I think that's because of the radiation being somehow channeled.

Not exactly. Yes they raid settlements but they're smarter than raiders. Raiders are just chem drunk morons who only look at short time gain. Gunners are more practical. They won't bother you if you sat out of their way

If you boost your luck & get the timing right, quicksaving a couple times right after exiting Diamond City into the Fens, you can loot-lock all sorts of goodies including radium rifles, and farm the standard Legendary version of this- the Explosive Radium Rifle- from the nearby junkyard dogs. (I literally did it earlier today while farming for a kneecapper radium rifle- which I got after a while.)

Great weapon review! Loved this gun in my playthrough of far harbour, i liked how the firing mechanism is similar to the An-94 IRL (the barrel moves in and out in a,blowback shifted pulse instead of being static like other AR's)

My Ultimate Dream in Fallout 4, is to find a Sniper Rifle with the Explosion Legendary effect. I know the "Double Damage to Targets at full health" is mathematically the better option, but I love the idea of taking aim at an enemy a half a mile a way and they just EXPLODE!

the AP automatic can actually be better then the automatic you used, that armor percing seems to included the radiation resistance so yeah big damage.

Somewhere else i read that the Radium Rifle due to it´s dish on the barrel has issues with anything other than the Reflex Sight. Not sure whether Bethesda has fixed that by now, but the dish obstructed both iron sight and scopes to some degree. It seems the Rad damage caused by the weapon is not enough to heal Ghouls noticably.

The Radium Rifle is actually my favourite weapon in the entirety of Fallout 4 and I'd really love to see this marvel in Fallout 76.. Unfortunately, I don't think this is going to happen. Also, I can probably say that the Killton Rifle could be the most POWERFUL piece of automatic weaponry IN THE GAME!! Tell me if I'm wrong!

Would you recommend this over the "overseers guardian"? mine does 126 dmg but it shoots 2 projectiles instead of 1 so its damage is basically 252 and my "kiloton" rifle does 207 so 45 less damage,but has much less recoil and the damage types are variating..(like the radiation damage has no effect on a ghoul so thats -100 dmg on them, however other enemies might be weak against explosive or something) wich one would you prefer?

I rushed over to Nucleus for the first time to get armor, fell in from a hill. Talked to Richter. Stole his armor and gun. Fully-upgraded said armor and wore it along with my ballistic weave clothes and hat. As far as weapons you can try just about anything CamelWorks has a video for.

Only thing turned me off from it is most enemies are resistant to rads so a weapon with a higher base damage & explosive prefix would probly be better all around. Human targets would get its full effect tho. Awsome weapon for clearing raider camps.

Holy fuck explosive AND rad damage!? This is the best gun for Legendary enemies. It deals a tonne of damage very quickly, and the rad damage also keeps the enemy from regaining health unless it's a ghoul.

On survival, I use the kiloton rifle non auto as my long-range sniper rifle. I have an instigating radium rifle non auto for mid-range. And the splattercannon fully automatic for up close, With level 5 ballistic weave armor. I'm absolutely unstoppable.

At first I disagreed with your choice of scopes because of the sniper in me, but I've come to realize that you don't need a long range scope for this weapon. I was fighting a large group of trappers (at night) that were holed up in a large ship. I was up in the hills and could barely see them, but I discovered that by activating VATS I could zoom in on their locations and take them out using quick 6 round bursts. Even the boss trapper was no match for this strategy. You should have the demolition expert perk up to level 3 when using this strategy.

I just got the gun myself, though I did mod it with the advanced receiver as I had already specced my character with the rifleman perk. My previous favorite gun was a combat rifle I had found that ignored 30% of enemy defenses, and the radium rifle is literally a combat rifle that does radiation damage, so not only did you get great ammo, range, accuracy, recoil, and three types of damage, but it means at 10 Agility as a straight rifle (not automatic), you can still squeeze off 5 shots in VATS at a time, and most enemies from what I've seen will not be living past 2 or 3 hits (though I am currently level 90 and these baddies have some beef on them right now). The suppressor making it an optimal stealth weapon on top of that would probably be the most demoralizing things to enemies, as their pals suddenly just explode like a mini nuke went off inside them.

You don't have to side with children of atom to get this you just have to do a few of their side quests so that he will sell to you, I got this weapon from them and I still sided with far harbor in the same play through

Personally, I feel that a muzzle brake would be better for automatic weapons, while the suppressor would be better for semiautomatic. The muzzle brake has better recoil control, making it easier to aim while continuously firing, whereas the suppressor has the better per-shot recoil, allowing a shorter downtime between shots. At least, that's how I've found, and it makes loads more sense than throwing a suppressor on a full auto weapon, I mean seriously.

Funny thing, I walked into a cemetary after clearing a bunch of ghouls, no one else around. I then hear a man in a soft voice, saying "Hey you" in the raider dialogue, after entering a tiny building. He then tries to attack me, and I one shot blasted him with the radiated explosive rifle. It was hilarious

This is cool and all, but I found a two shot Radium rifle which has the same effect as the overseer's guardian, making it completely destroy this weapon in damage output.
